  1. no point playing with tyre pressures, won't help. at the end of the day those rear tyres are made from the scraps of an eleastic band factory. they are crap. changing pressures on them is like polishing a turd. how ever hard you try its still a turd.
  2. are they the wanli ditchfinders, or the wanli hedge missles? get them off ASAP and put decent rubber on
  3. this stuff strpay like a matte finish. even coats are achievable on a large area but it takes skill for an even coat. you can buy this by the quart and spray it with a spray gun. if it was me i'd look at investing in a spray gun and compressor for this job.
  4. good luck, only adive i would give is try to spray indoors, means you'll get a more even coat and less likely to be patchy.
  5. facelift steering controls have the writing on the buttons and not the facia
  6. as it proves, money can;t buy you talent as well as taste!
  7. if you don't mind a trip to suffolk i have a good shop that i use
  8. nice seam welding , i;d leave the roof gutter on, makes a difference when the car is wet and you sit in with the window down it all gushes into the car
  9. if you get the rust under control and the engine is serviced regularly you won;t have too many issues. like you say very little to go wrong on them. also it might be worth looking at some of the conversion kits, you can bring the brakes up to modern standards by converting from drum to disc, makes the car alot safer. think there are also some suspension strut upgrades as well. underside and boot area need a good rust check and or clean and seal. am really impressed with how nice that looks. i think the soft tops are nicer.
  10. buy a copy, get me to carbon dip it for you, then get your body shop to mask that bit up and paint the rest.
  11. show them a picture and say
  12. very tasty and in letterbox red
  13. it also works well on black and silver cars
  14. be the first in the UK that i know of, but well worth doing, bronze is a cracking colour as is a nice dark gold. its made of win
  15. got one already wrapped and ready to send out, but the plan was to strip it and carbon dip it. as i have another customer interested in that. as well. how much would it cost for an exchange cover hydro dipped in carbon? i don't know yet i haven't done it; hoping to make a start on it this weekend, will post up a thread as soon as its sorted.
