  1. see i was unaware of this; so in hindsight when i had that accident all those years ago and wiped out the bollards and sign posts i should have reported it to the police. i think the insurance company must have done on my behalf. as i don't remember ringing them. it is good that people are able to clarify it though
  2. I think mother over reacted abit taking him to A&E christ 10 small sips on a whiskeys not going to kill him, he'll just sleep very well that night by all means go ape at the F&B's but NHS direct and an A&E trip. I'd have doen it if he drank the bottle or it was bleach. yet another over reacting mother
  3. Sorry i'm reading this sporadically go to respond end up not doing for 10 min while i have to sort something else.
  4. wow, i think this is all being blown out of propotion, it is not neccessary to ring the police after an accident unless other people were involved. and even then only really in the case of an injury. my wife was hit on a dual carriage way, we rang the non emergency line and was told unless someones hurt there was no need to come out.
  5. worst case scenario is possibly pay for the damage to the street furniture i had an accident many years ago where i came off a roundabout 360 stylee and wiped out 2 bollards and a 2 sign posts. i believe the police were informed via my insurance company but i was never billed for the damage. i think it was absorbed in the insurance costs and dealt with by the insurer. if you did not go through the insurer and had it fixed off the books it could be that you will be billed for the damage and replacement of the sign post.
  6. if i was given one i'd sell it and buy something else with the cash look forward to hearing your feedback after your drive out. mates dad has one and they love it. i know its a popular car and by no means a let down. enjoy the test drive and remember to bring your captain brave pants and a spare pair for any accidents

  10. as long as you match across the axle you'll be fine. if swapping to a new tyre do the rears now, and the fronts later when they have worn. as long as they are good tyres there isn;t an issue just avoid ditch finding tyres so stay away from the budget end. also people keep saying falken are budget tyres, they aren;t they are a mid range tyre. same as toyo, Vreds, Kuhmo etc

  22. just be careful of anything that isn;t a polymer based paint. it will if brake fluid gets on it, get damaged. if you do use either normal car paint or VHT paint swap to a silicone based brake fluid. this is not corrosive to non polymer paints.
  23. i like my spiced rum, not really dabbled with the white yet. i found that the proper jamacian giner beer in the pale can with fine stripes on the fiery stuff works well, and with lots and lots of ice in the glass, and i squeeze about half a lime in. its quiet sweet. but i find it refreshing.
