  1. need to dig the camera out. will do in a bit as i have some ebay selling to do
  2. I was with you until you said that - an R35 being a classic example that outperforms, in so many ways, a whole host of so-called supercars - hence why any number of Pro racing drivers have chosen them. Better is subjective though. I'd rather have a rari or an AMG over a R35. If going fast is your only and main priority then maybe. was going to say the same, R35 might be faster round the track so to speak, but the interior isn't as nice as other cars.
  3. I use the kestrl DAS 6 jobbie and its a cracking DA polisher
  4. i would have thought it was body tape under the centre section and a screw/bolt in each end in the wheel arch section. that way they aren't visible as it looks like one of the fixings for the wheel arch liner. in fact you may even be able to use the wheel arch liner fixing at the bottom.
  5. don;t touch crapspeed stuff
  6. you're another pub number quoter. "ah well my car has 300 Bhp" etc etc not every car is about how much torque and BHP its got. the GT86 is more about the driving experience, the feedback and the enjoyment it gives for being rewarding. my old MR2 roadster only had 140 bhp but was a fanatastic car to drive. my 306 gti6 had about 165 bhp and that was a cracking drive, the S2000 i had was only 220 bhp and that was a supurb drive. i might even be as bold to say all of them were a more involving and exciting drive than the 350Z. not that the zed isn;t good. but all of those cars when you get the apex of a bend just right made you feel supurb. my current car has about 440 bhp and in a straight line is awesome but take it down the back roads and b roads and its no where near as rewarding as say the zed, and compared to the cars mentioned above its just an lacking the same excitment. also on the back roads most of that power becomes irelevant when what you want is small light and nibble with a revvy responsive engine. I reckon the gt86 is going to be a very popular tuning platform.
  7. the speakers are on stands and the bases to them are big heavy cast aluminium. so guessing will have the same effect as being on a big piece of slate. as for the subi might get something big and heavy for it to sit on.
  8. NSX and RX7 are my top 2 choices for next jap metal. but must admit i am enjoying exploring the non jap world
  9. you're obviously not satisfied with the zed; otherwise you wouldn't be looking else where. might as well save the cash on zed mods and wait till you worked out what you actually want.
  10. i thought this, but didn;t know which plug to put it in, but as i got the cable within 24 hours and its doing the job great i can;t really complain.
  11. put it this way, i know when they're having sex!!! but thats upstairs, only tend to hear the odd shout etc, but they aren't paper thin. I just think his girlfriends a screamer
  12. i'm still in shock over the video dave, what the hell was that for????
  13. sub cable arrived this morning, all plugged in, but as the wife is home and helping test it; i've used the MCACC setup and it works but is very conservative. but as you crank the volume up it sounds great. just a little worried as the sub is placed next to the wall between myself and my next door neighbour. just been using 101 power ballads to test it out with and some cee lo green
  14. its just a shame about toyotas choice of unsavioury seat cloth material pattern
  15. a new RX7 would be cool. but i'm looking forward to the new NSX if it has to be Jap i think i'm a secret honda monkey
