  1. r32 club try tp do this to an extent, lots of sales threads will people looking at buying and saying, that's well over priced; and the club reply alwys seems o be that's what they're worth. and what tends to happen is most people tell the owners to jog on. I know because I did. as its just a bloody golf lol.
  2. Its a Nissan, there are lots of them, and people pay what's its worth, not what a forum dictates. You can price it for 30k if you like, but there are so many not on the club, that people will just buy else where. TVR are a rarer brand, carry more prestige, no longer exisit, are more exotic and collectable. the down side of jap cars is they built them in vast numbers, and at a cheaper price than competitors. great when they are new, but you have to wait a hell of a lot longer for them to become collectable and go up in price. look at the 240Z as possibly your best example of what islikely to happen to the 350, and that will give you a good time line.
  3. That's a whole new mirror needed.
  4. pm the mods; if your upgrading to a 370 im sure they may be willing to discuss letting you advertise amsales post if your sticking around
  5. lens are self levelling, the noise you here is mechanism setting its self to the correct position. as for knowing if they are focussed right; the only way is in an MOT centre, with a lens beam level checker. you can point It at a wall and get a rough idea, but ot wont show if its fully accurate or not. MOT centre will possibly do it for free if you ask nicely.

  7. Lee is a good chap, he just tskes on too much, then gets buried live with it all and then lets people down. not deliberetly, but I t does happen. best bet is to speak to matt bowey, s he can often sort it with lee quicker

  11. I've worked on the mgf and they hide the engine away, but most of the others are reall easy access, also they are a doddle to drop the engine out of. k series is a great engine as is the Toyota 1zz and 2zz engine. k series tend to have issues in the disco's as the car was to big for the engine, which made them blow gaskets. but k series are cheap to work on,new gasket from hangar 111 and skimming the head and fitting about £600 all in.
  12. never a good thing to hear anytime of the year
  13. Is this from experience? having owned a mid engine car I found them one of the easiest cars to work on ever. everything is in one place, you have full access to the engine by just pooping the rear bumper off. exhausts and manifolds are a doddle to access, compared to the 12 hours needed to access the zed engine. as for the K series engine, had one of those as well. only issue is the had gasket, and hangar 111 do an upgrade kit that solves that problem. as for car thrashing, because the car is a lot lighter, the stress put on the engine is lower compared to ragging a car that weighs half a ton more.
