The nurrish system is a PoS. Cheaply made, badly wired in, dodgy software, why they were promoted so heavily back in the day I will never know. I know mechanic who've seen them and the wiring and said they're a liability.

Check the quality of work before you confirm with a place. Dipping is fairly straight forward, but I've dealt with a few places and the finish is lacking in quality.

I still go to blockbusters for 2nd hand games, but as most movies come out on sky box office about the same time, and cost only 50p more, I moved to doing that. Still prefer them on blueray. And if I have the time I would still go to the rental shop.

They did, it expired a few years ago now so a number of cars now use them - such as the XKR, for example. Mine was built in 2000 so its had it for at least 13 years Jag was part of Ford until 2007. :wink: But it has been the better part of a decade, if not longer. I know, that's why I said my car is 60% Granada. Lol

No point dwelling. We all have bad days, you've just been unlucky today. Tomorrow should be better. Worse case scenario, you could always run him over tomorrow. Or bring out a laxative laced cup of tea out for him.

GT makes no difference to bhp. Pre 06 = 276bhp, post 06 = 298bhp, post 07 = 309bhp. 0 - 60 are all around 6 sec, latest version just under. Early ones just over. Weight of about 1.6 tonnes. Do a bhp per tonne comparison with the hatchback. It will all come down to the launch. If your new to rwd, it takes more skill than fwd.

insurers share records these days, i would recommend declaring any prang as things get flagged up. i forgot to mention the no claims fault my wife had a few years back when renewing a couple of years ago, and towards the end the mentioned it. which was good as it reminded me to put it on. but it goes to show they share the info.
