The new 370 can be run on 95ron I'm sure I read somewhere abbey saying that the 70 allows for knock where the old 350 didn't. If its an issue you can get small bottles of octane booster. You could run it on 95 and keep bottles of octane booster in the boot, and just drop a couple in when you fill up.

Possibly, also heat helps adhesion, but the course your booked on should give you the best help

last time we had good snow the kids where i work made giant snow penises by the main road. and out side the police station

makes me laugh, we make the situation worse by gritting. just have a policy that all drivers swap to winter tyres in november, and maybe carry snow chains. thing is we only get about 5 days of snow a year. can;t always gaurentee where and how much, so it all grinds to a halt. if we had gaurenteed snow for prolonged periods nationwide, then it is easier to manage.
