  1. There are a few on here including some sponsored drifters as well.
  2. But they only work between 12am and 12.05am and every time you use them your pen1s shrinks by 1mm
  3. very nice, I'd swap the zed for it, the v8 is an addictive noise.
  4. I pioneered it on this forum
  5. any exhaust place can fit them, its not a specialist job, also cost you less if you go to a normal exhaust centre. They also do it day in and day out so will be very quick
  6. He's investing a shed load of cash. He got rich by not wasting money, so he'll want to see a return on his investment. The only way to get the big money in is to continue to get the manufacturers in to hire the track and promote public use to raise funds. Most likely continue with the original idea to commercialise it by adding in retail, shopping hotels and leisure facilities. The track is like automotive Mecca. He'd be a fool to change it or make it a private playground he'd never make his cash back
  7. why? What's frightening about a Russian pharmaceutical billionaire?
  8. Did you bring it home in a doggy bag? Watching that has made me really want a burger now
  9. If it was a classic car or a limbo or Ferrari I might understand. But its a modern jap car that's built not to rust. And doesn't cost much. Some of the best driving days are mid winter
  10. There are companies out their that offer free advice, I'm guessing she's part of a union, from memory most unions have people who are able to advise over pension issues. Or can put you in contact with someone
  11. THAT'S 93 RON MAUHAHAHAHAHA and no petrol pumps and it's frozen And a 1 ltr fuel tank! With an 8 litre engine that's been fitted in a robin reliant by Kwik fit apprentice monkeys
  12. Have you brought a towel for the meat sweats?
  13. Too much bread for my liking I'd go for the steak. Although I'd give the burger a go as well at some point.
  14. So to update, Finally collected my car on Saturday, turned up but the boss wasn't around, no receipts for the work and no reimbursement for costs incurred. But it does look like the car is sorted, carpets seem dry, electrics all work. Got the kids 1st birthday out the way at the weekend, and on Monday I wrote a letter, and sent it recorded delivery. Got a call from the boss on Wednesday, said he felt disappointed how I'd treated him, asking for reimbursement of all costs after he'd just spent £500 sorting my car. We had a good chat, and to be fair to the bloke, when I've dealt direct with him he has been spot on, its been the hard work f getting to that point. Long story short, he is sending me a copy of the bills with a cheque for the Volvo dealership costs I'm pleased its all sorted, and glad to have my car back.
  15. They still get their pound of flesh, cheaper fuel sees consumption go up,
  16. Just to throw a cat amongst the pigeons. Have you looked at 306 gti6's Cracking fun cars, light weight 6 speed manual (one of the first cars ever to be sold with one)167bhp, drives like a go kart, goes like a rocket, understated but refined. I had one and loved it and would be cheaper than the Lupe to buy
  17. I think the wheels really suit it, looks very nice
  18. Did that bill come with free lube or was that an extra cost? Brake line change time and cost was mental as was the service costs. You can take the bloody engine out and put it back in 10 hours You can get a good service including consumables and labour for £400. To pay £500 and supply all the consumables is crazy.
  19. my new car is a dull SUV for the family, but when tyre change time comes round I shall be getting a set of Pirelli scorpion verde all weather designed specifically for big 4x4 and covers most eventualities regarding terrain and temperature. its an all season tyre that should offer a nice all round balance. for my my car this wont help you but I was rather pleased to find a happy medium for my new car.
  20. look forward to seeing pics if you get it
  21. The biggest portion of the coat of fuel is tax. The supermarkets only have so much to pls with before they use their own profits to subsidise it.
  22. Started with an S2000, felt i couldn't pick anything else for my first car. Was tempted by the bmw 1 series coupe and the golf R.
