  1. what's the estimate for new xbox launch
  2. i prefer hexis over 3m having used both, hence why I supply hexis now and don't touch the 3m stuff. the last guy I supplied to who wrapped his own car started with 15 metres, but in the end I think he got through 25 metres or close too as he re did panels, and learned from mistakes as he went.
  3. my wife had this a while back, from memory we used my work email as her alternative address, it emailed the log in to there and got in that way. if that doesn't work, have you googled your problem? I know that sounds silly but I found several solutions on there.
  4. you're on to my plan already, I've bunged stuff on ebay as well, and been doing some extra cutting of vinyl for people. also got some new carbon dip parts being finished off for sale as well.
  5. all yours if you want it, just send me a pm
  6. I just went and registered for a timed DVLA auction, found one for £130 thought what the hell I'll register for a bid, but with all the additional fee's etc it came in at £330. at that point I cancelled out.
  7. see i'm 60 miles from lodon, you may find s more favourable quote in blackpool for psint. you're still looking at well over £1k for vinyl as well, anywhere between £1200 and upwards depending on vinyl used.
  8. 2 badges were cut as testers for another project, available for a good home, they are 99% identical in size to the original Nissan badges.
  9. right its a relist, as it was never paid for or collected. still £10
  10. Just add this poor quality pic for the username tag. but the pic at the top is what it looks like with decent camera. still available and ready for a new home
  11. That's the thing Keyser, just doing the there and back and I reckon that's £120 in fuel alone, would be great catching with you guys, I'll wait and see when the bumper arrives what the fit behind is like. I've got most of the kit already, just need to find somewhere dry to do it. Even got plenty of steel plates and an anvil to shape on. Just nice to do jobs like this with a mate for moral support.
  12. a jag without rust is not a jag, its a kit car yes the new bumper meets at the bottom of the lights and then goes round the sides to the wheel arches, the edges that are visible are then blended in. i'm going to be doing that and the paint prep, and i'm also toying with borrowing the angle grinder and mig welder from work and doing the rust removal and bumper fitting myself as it will save me £400 if i do it myself. alternatively i was wondering if the boys in the zed shed fancied a new challenge and a jumbo box of delux biscuits and cakes?
  13. get some quotes the further north you go the cheaper it tends to get, the closer to london you are the more expensive it is.
  14. if its only an exhaust system, there are plenty of custo exhaust builders who can fabricate straight onto the car at what ever spec you want. whats your location?
  15. at a guess yes, but zmanalex would be your best bet for an accurate answer. there is a difference between left and right hand drive cars, and exhausts made for left hand cars don;t fit uk cars very well as the diff is in the way. but a jap car is right hand drive so it should theortically bolt straight on.
  16. 1) would a full colour change have a catastrophic effect on the resale value? Depends on what it is, but generally no, although a vinyl wrap can be hiding unknown damage underneath as you never know what its like till you remove it, which can put some buyers off. if your looking at a full paint job then its about £2k for exterior only and near 4K if you have all the engine bay and door shuts done etc. 2) might a smart repair job on these marks, followed by a vinyl wrap be a better idea? Not a bad idea, but a vinyl wrap can lift smart repairs when you reomve thevinyl if your not careful. 3) how long does a wrap last if you take care of it? How longs a piece of string; depends on the vinyl who fitted it, how its cared for,, what the weathers like. there are some new finishes out there that are good for 10 years. i'm looking into some stuff from the states but its not cheap 4) any other suggestions on tackling these that I haven't thought of? no 5) is it legal to shoot seagulls if they cr@p on your car? yes
  17. for now i think the lights will wait, i'll get the rear on, and then see the budget, and i might order the sides to go on after.
  18. i'm also going to get rob at likwid art to run me up some new rear badges. a new jaguar text for the left and a new XKR badge on the right but using the facelifted "R" design badge
