  1. The Zspeed undertray has a quick access flap for the oil. Upgrade and oil changes are a breeze!
  2. Well I'm hoping to get my new polisher by the end of the week. I'm a bit stacked with plenums at the minute but once I get a window of opportunity I'll let you know.
  3. you're a customer too lol The director rang me yesterday for pics..... I even wrote up the process but they chose not to include it shamefully, considering the time taken to write it!! Thats a bit crap, but oh well, free stuff Exactly, new bench polisher with 6" fitment and the necessary mops and compounds. I'll now have 3 machines. The main reason for a 3rd is the machines get fairly hot. Previously with one machine I'd need to wait 30 minutes before it had cooled down. With 3 on the bench it allows me to keep the process moving, especially with doing a plenum for instance.
  4. That sounds far too long....... Sunday - Ordered Monday (Bank Holiday) - Book collection Tuesday - Spacer Collected Wednesday - Delivered Had it been a normal day Monday you'd have received it yesterday Glad all received okay, lovely bits of kit eh (I also have a red one fitted) Was hoping for same day delivery but.... The price for delivery is higher (but can be arranged if needed)

  7. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=221433342896 Nissan 350Z 3.5 V6 Conv GT/Nismo Spec in Azure Blue 2007 facelift model It's running a BOSS system with an identity problem amongst modifications that were never listed as standard or as a factory option!
  8. Shame to see a nice car up for sale. GLWTS........ You may want to update your Exhaust to read ARK, not Arc. If it was an Arc I'd be buying the car just for the exhaust!!
  9. Personally I'd split the tyres from the rims. I also have these tyres and paid around £900!! Say for instance you sell the tyres for £600 and Rays for £300-400, you're quids in over your original price. Worth having a bash, they're very good winter tyres.
  10. It would, but I've found lacquer dull's down the polished effect, not by much, but if you want a super shiny plenum, raw and bare is the best option. Thanks matey
  11. don't worry about voting, competition ended 30th April and I won through various channels of voters. The plenum won't go yellow. The issue is oxidisation which Aluminium will suffer as it's exposed to moisture, air and varying temperatures. The way to maintain the shine is by using a high quality Carnauba wax to seal the plenum from the exposing elements. Clean with speed detailer and apply wax as and when needed. If oxidisation occurs attend to it immediately with AutoGlym Metal Polish. I've used a few metal polished for subsequent maintenance and AG metal polish has given the best results. Once the AG metal polish has been applied and rubbed off. Apply the Wax again to seal. The wax must be Carnauba based to ensure maximum protection.
  12. Why is it I receive an email, once maybe twice in some instances? As well as I receive a mail but no for sale thread? It seems a bit broken? Or a legitimate reason I'm sure......
  13. I think it may be in the app store, look up cookie clicker Knowing you its gonna break my phone
  14. Whatever it is it doesn't work on the iPhone?
  15. :bump: PM me if you're interested in a pair
  16. Update: Current stock levels are as follows. Gold 1 Black 1 Red 2 Blue 3 Orange 4 I'll be doing another batch soon which will incorporate the polished/silver effect. PM me if you're interested.
  17. Considering there's only a few mods visible she looks brilliant!! Sometimes the natural look is simple but effective, camera skills have for sure delivered a good few pics. Like a lot!!
  18. Ha ha I knew the "Free Polishing" requests would come along. Yes Paddy is dead right, I should have said actually and I do apologise matey. Paddy helped bump up the votes mid way through to the 350z community on FB, which earned some extra votes that's for sure. In fact Paddy, let me know if there's anything that you'd like "touched up" - in fact, send me that strut brace you've got for sale and I'll give that a refresh for you. How's that, considering your sterling efforts and capturing the votes from across the water.
  19. Boys, girls, ladies and gents, oh and car fanatics!! I'm a winner of the Polishing Competition, in which I'll receive a new polishing machine and varying wheels and compounds. I THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTING VOTES!! :notworthy: I finished 15 votes clear with 74, which was enough to clinch the prize. The prize will help to relieve some of the strain on my other polishing machines due to excess heat. So a 3rd machine will relieve the pressure and keep the flow of work at a maximum. Here's their confirming mail below: Hi Ian, Thank you for entering our before & after competition, it gives me great pleasure to announce that you are our winner. We appreciate the time and effort it has involved spending 20 + hours polishing what looks to be a manifold? To a very good high polish. If you could furnish us with some more pictures, if you have them of the polishing process and also with the finished piece in situ - preferably with a picture of you admiring your handy-work. This will enable us to formally announce you as the winner via our promotions. If you could also send us your address where you would like your prize delivered, we will dispatch it in due course. Once again, congratulations from all of us at Metal Polishing Supplies UK Ltd. Best regards John Fitzgerald General Manager Metal Polishing Supplies UK Ltd Thanks again guys, your votes were greatly appreciated. :)
  20. Sounds cool when they go past at full whirr though, sounds like something spaceagey I hate electric cars, they're dangerous and run people over doing just 3mph! All electric cars need a sound just like a rubbish truck thing, "this vehicle is reversing" or in the case of electric cars "this vehicle is MOVING!"
