  1. Its got to be a wind up Paddy. To spend £2,700 on your pride and joy is just down right rude. I daren't even begin to start adding up the total cost I've spent on my zed over the last 4 years + but lets just say its probably more than you paid for your HR so there's no jealousy fella at all. We can all spend stupid amounts when we want to, but like Paddy said you're looking for opinions or at least answers. As mentioned previously people wouldn't normally spend £2,700 on part of an exhaust, let alone the full system, unless its a ARC Ti which in my opinion would epically walk all over the SS on every conceivable angle. I think you've antagonised a number of members here just passing simple advice and I'm sure those who've seen this thread think you're off your rocker. Best get the SS and be happy about it. Unless you're looking for attention? I'd love to see how amazing this exhaust is to see exactly how they warrant the price tag.
  2. Yes Red in stock, my last one! I'll send over payment details
  3. Sorry matey yes need to check. Give me 5 mins. Looking smart by the way
  4. Evening! 6pm'ish as I was heading away from Woodstock
  5. That has to be the BEST gate crashed spot/meet ever! Not only did you spot a zed, but a meet and bloody well joined in!! Spot of the year I'd say!!
  6. What happened to the Matiz, I can't see you driving that, what inspired you?
  7. Mr Smurf get back to cleaning your car, all you want to do these days is change peoples names Anyway back on topic and I can't believe nobody has said
  8. You can have oem tail pipe look as well. Seriously have a good listen across youtube. Every video is different. I spent 2.5 years searching for the RIGHT sound for my ears and you sound a particular type of guy. I think you'd be disappointed with the SS. It sounds just a little too traditional. Exhausts are very particular but if the SS ticks the boxes get it and show it off!
  9. Chill Winston, 20 is 20, could be 0 then its worth pulling. Maybe some haven't seen this thread considering its not bumped on a regular basis and to be frank I didn't even know this had been posted and I'm on here daily. If I recall previously comments weren't allowed so there's no other way than for you to bump it. Voted
  10. You'd also need to be FI to really reap performance rewards. £2.7k that's a lot of dough on just the exhaust and expect to lose a heap of cash trying to sell it afterwards. Credit to you for your wallet size though I have to say. Especially on this system. Good luck and keep us posted
  11. As Kyle has tastefully recommended, Earls, you may as well see said pic.
  12. Oh dear, I'm sorry all that cash for a sound which isn't that great. Everyone is different of course. I run a full MD system but with oem cats as I've yet to fit the ART pipes, but my oem cats are basically there for the pops and crackles. Basically half the cores are missing and holes drilled into the cats. I love the sound of MD system. Which does come with a choice of tips and looks meaty. Sorry but that Supersorint sounds a bit weak for the money. As mentioned the R1 Titanium with ART Pipes is another good sound, more tinny which is what you seem to prefer and would save you some cash at the same time.
  13. I know Rich too well to have grabbed the dictionary so I ignored it
  14. If at me yes, otherwise I'd not have gone for the Zed. I like the GTV for its looks but found it underpowered and rather lacklustre but looks were favourable. R32 drove better but I just didn't feel the hot hatch appeal and at the end of the day it had zero character. So the Zed won hands down. From spec, looks, drivability and performance. The sound of the zed is 10 times better than both put together, but again everyone has an opinion.
  15. Can't see why not, it's only a title change the content will remain.
  16. Why not ask Admin/Mods to change the title for you.
  17. The Alfa GTV 96-04 weighed in at 1415kg, the zed is 1545kg (276 GT Model). Comparing HP and TQ, the Alfa had 218bhp v 276bhp, with TQ for the Alfa at 195ftlb v 268 of the Zed, so I'd say their performance is no better than a Zed, as per the figures. Especially with 0-60 a whole second behind. Golf R32 3dr DSG (05-08), Weighing 1538kg and providing 246bhp and TQ 236, again another under performing vehicle. 0-60 with the DSG gives it 6.0s, with the non DSG 6.3s. Neither are better performing........ In my eyes both would be left at the drag strip. They might sound better, but that's just a matter of opinion etc. I looked at the GTV and R32, both dismissed for the better car...... the Zed.
  18. Search "Carbon Valley Cover" You'll see....... What should have delivered is one of these...... That sits on top of here......
  19. Anyone fancy some fossilised Dinosaur sh1t?? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=390477464063 (DF844-147) Fossil REAL DINOSAUR POOP Coprolite Dino Valley Utah DUNG Poo Scat
  20. True enough, but almost twice as much damage and I am sure Zeds haven't halved in value..... I would say my Zed was worth about £6k tops at the time (minus mods that cound for nowt) so they paid 75% of the car, all depends how sure they are of getting the money back, if it was driver error and nobody else involved then no doubt a write-off but if someone else was to blame not so clear cut I reckon... I wouldn't say twice as much Dave, the rear quarter is a right pain in the **** - made worse by the fact prices for just the quarter are off the scale at Nissan, I think it was about £700 or something. Then you've got cutting and welding to take into account. Wing, Door and Wheels are easy items to remove.
  21. Didn't you come to the recent meet called the "Free 20k in your pocket gathering" I went twice
  22. Dan it must take you ages to get ready for work in the morning, making sure everything is right!!
