  1. I see Jez has been reading this for the last hour and probably thinks WTF!!
  2. Wowowowo hold on a mo it's STILL upside down. Unless Graham has been on the Dram (again) Ahhhh that makes sense now, upside down coded pictures with a shorter chap in his Volvo! Ouch Busted....... Unless this is the coming out thread??
  3. Thought I had read that somewhere, see I can do car related stuff now and again 3 pages of waffle.
  4. It's ok Graham is renowned for using photobucket.com/Australia
  5. The newer GTR's weren't restricted with launch control. Just the very early models.
  6. I drive an Audi 80 for nearly 2 years as a left hooker. 98% of the time was just fine. I personally prefer left hand drive, the only downside in the UK is toll booths, carparks with ticket machines.
  7. Having a little flick from property alerts and stumbled across a GM 350z in the car park (left hand side) http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-30941475.html?utm_content=v2-ealertspropertyimage&utm_medium=email&utm_source=emailupdates&utm_campaign=emailupdates1day&utm_term=buying&sc_id=13425497&onetime_FromEmail=true Maybe somebody here?
  8. The blue one in the second video has a stage 1 remap, no other mods So technically this.... The APR Stage I ECU Upgrade gives you higher peak numbers of 410 horsepower and 447-ft. of torque, and gains of up to 76 horsepower and 95lb-ft are available throughout the power band! Not bad for £1,200 + vat. Why the hell didn't Nissan fit a turbo in the beginning. Obvious because of the GTR, but really, the 350 would have been the one to beat. Rather than being the underdog. But then looks and charisma stand leaps and bounds above Porsche, Audi and Beemers. No,technically this. . . . "The blue one in the second video has a stage 1 remap, no other mods". I didn't quote power figs or manufacturer. If it helps I do believe that Harrison's car (the blue one in the 2nd vid) had a Revo stage 1 remap and was ~400bhp. Most of the stage 1 remaps (Revo, APR, MRC etc etc) will give ~400bhp on a TTRS with no other mods. I don't know if my posts are being misinterpreted, I'm not trying to promote the TTRS as a better car than the Z, I own a Z! I've been purely responding to the OP's question about how fast was a TTRS with facts backed up with experience of owning one. I was just trying to gauge a position of likely power bonus from stock but still 400 or 410 as above isn't going to make much difference. Fact is the TTRS seems to perform VERY well in those vids, more so than the 400bhp or the important factor the torque. It seems to be making more of a dance than a stage one from those vids. The GTR should have walked all over the TTRS and that particular GTR is not shy of any mods. Visually the vids don't add up.
  9. Bizarre, although I have seen a lot of these "private sale" things going on with a dodgy email.
  10. Why Dan? Are you a NA man at heart?
  11. I've seen this a few times and wondered if people fall for this? Car 1 - under priced showing trader company Birchwood, yet private dodgy email http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201409017041076?atmobcid=soc3 Car 2 - exactly the same car but different trader Mc Fall again dodgy email http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201409017039121?atmobcid=soc3

  13. Very broad generalisation there Ian! Absolutely spot on though Okay so there's a majority that CAN drive an Audi or Beemer, but the volume of them on our motorways guarantees a ***** driving either brand up you're arse. Best part of it is though, half of them can't actually drive, so wait for the right moment, drop two cogs and say good night. Those arse soon realise that a Zed is not to be intimidated.
  14. If its cheaper and better made then I'll be in. I'm sure there would be a few more of us too. To be fair if you have one for trial fitting and the weave is a bit pants in places I'll have that one as it'll be colour coded. See what happens but there will def be TS customers here.
  15. That video doesn't show exactly how modified each of the vehicles were. That TTRS was def modified, without a shadow of doubt. TTRS for me looks nice but is just a TT at the end of the day. Too many girls drive them and further at the end of the day they're ultimately an Audi driver, same club as the Beemer Brigade. Up your arse, no indication on motorways and drive for the sake of the badge.
  16. Will you be doing the one with the vents? (HR with vents TS) If so I'll dibs the first one!!
  17. It's the same as the spacer 5/16, well mine are. You could reduce the height of the aluminium spacers for the strut. Sand them down maybe. I can sell you a pack of aluminium spacers if needed.
  18. I run a carbon boot, no space saver and have shed 30+kg from the rear. I'm still on the road and its 4.5 years without a spare.
  19. Sounds like your car is telling you quietly to slow down a little
  20. You can always pursue them through a small claims court. Follow them as they leave, and make sure there's a full tank of fuel in your car. I've rented many a time and been the landlord for over 10 years and so far never an issue. One tenant wanted to re-decorate the entire property at their cost. Can't moan at that.
  21. With less than a 100 votes with all the members we have and considering there has to be a car of choice out if these..... VOTE NOW!!!!!!
  22. Wales at Steves' new house then
  23. Well she wasn't stolen today as I had a cracking drive home with a SL63 AMG and a Jag XFR. Was kinda interesting and the Zed isn't so much of a slouch. Yes there's a huge difference but the gaps weren't as bad as I thought. Wait till the LS is in and they might be a little surprised.
