  1. Do you know where the secret compartment is then?? Secret compartment.... is it of any use? I like to make the most of my boot space so any extra compartments are more than welcome!!
  2. I didn't even know there was one????? Not that it would pay for me to do so, as I've taken my gas struts off the boot lid!!
  3. Voted - good luck - looks like the girl is taking 1st place at the mo.... I don't think it's in the same league as your car - anyone can strip a car and not care about it's cosmetics. I've seen your car and love the Chargespeed rear, in fact I like the whole thing.... especially as it's Azure like mine
  4. Superb photo's - some serious snapping there! Great to see some super memories from that weekend. Wales should be visited more often - or at least a weekend trip at least 4 times a year!! I'm getting very tired of Birmingham roads and Wales - well enough said!
  5. Sideways comment from me - my ECU took a week to work out that I'd replaced my stock Air Intake, as initially I gained a slight boost in power, then after a week the car was back to running stock settings despite having my ARC induction kit fitted. So I'd say anything up to a week for the fuel to digest out the system for the ECU to get what I would say is average reading and adjust accordingly?
  6. Wicked! On to the Ring - if you are around the week of 20th Aug myself and friend are heading to the Ring as part of our Europe trip. Might want to have a mini meet?
  7. Hi, I sent you a pm the other day about NOS supplies in and around Germany. I don't suppose you have any good outlets nearby the track? Cheers
  8. It's not lightening quick - although good price!! (0-60 8.3s) http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p
  9. Gotcha - well, I have no swirls so all seems well. Although just glad I didn't use the brush more than a couple of times.
  10. They are specially designed brushes which are extremely soft - I've only used it a couple of times only as my pressure washer wasn't working properly and would only allow me to jet spray. Looks like I shall bin the brush just in case!!
  11. Point taken - looks like I will be adopting new cleaning procedures.
  12. I jet wash the car. Wash the car using mit/lance with brush attachment. Rinse car of soap with jet wash. I could maybe incorporate the 2 bucket option - as I was suprised and the rubbish at the bottom of the bucket. Might be worth a try!
  13. The car looks in pain - put it back together again!! Quick!
  14. May be expensive for the Supernatural but lasts well. My last application was 3 weeks ago, and the wax has maintained a great shine. Funny thing is I used Autoglym High Gloss stuff on one side of the car and then used Supernatural on the other side and both have last well. If you want a simple application Autoglym wins for me, although it does feel satisfying applying the supernatural!!
  15. Autoglym applied and the wheel is clean!! Cheers!
  16. The cig lighter socket in front of the passenger seat is activated by ignition - as I plug my snooper into it!
  17. This is correct.... I remember being in the court room (and being in the early 90's) Men Behaving Badly was on tv - they would refer women to Totty. So there's me in the court and the court informed me that I will have my licence removed for TOTTING! I thought eh - for girls? She repeated and said "No - for offending so often and collecting too many points". Ah I see!! In all I collected 21 points before I learnt my lesson!! I've not had a point on my licence now for over 6 years, so looks like I'm a good boy now!
  18. Nice one - I'm sure you'll see the install over the Midlands meet and pass comment for heating anyway.
  19. 6 month ban for totting when I was about 21. Insurance wasn't a problem thereafter.
  20. +1000!! Maybe we could trade off against the ARC box you wish to borrow?
  21. I purchased the "Supernatural" wax at the Wales meet - I walked in the dinning area and my other half looked at me and said what's that I replied "Hair Gel" - as it was in a pot very similar. Had she of known that it was for the car and cost £60 I'd be given a To date she doesn't know the cost I have to agree the cost of cleaning a car is very expensive.... let me know how the snow foam goes as I have a Karcher kit and quite keen to see how it performs!
  22. Nice one - I've got plenty of time until the cooler weather comes along - unless you fancy a small project?
  23. I have the Autoglym stuff, so I shall give it a nice clean at the weekend. Cheers for the advice.
  24. Hmmm I'd like to get some of the 40k miles hand grime off, I don't think water alone will do this? I may give the wheel some leather cleaning solution to see how it goes.... although like you say, I don't like it being slippy also!
