    Azure PORN

Good work The camera really can't pick up that silky shine as good as the naked eye!! I've tried a number if angles myself although hoping a better camera might do the trick!! Azure porn it is......
  2. I had the same issue at the Nurburgring - brakes went after 10 mins, but then I didn't have a clue where I was going and had to brake more than normal. At the time I had performance friction pads and oem disks and of course brembo calipers. What I didn't change was the brake fluid which apparently was the main cause of the problem, with the fluid overheating. Changes I've made since then is improved brake fluid and braded lines. I'm yet to test this new setup, although I'm sure there will be others along soon with more track experience to confirm if your problem was the same as mine and to provide a solution?

    MOT car wash

Bad times - I nearly had the same issue at Nissan for my MOT. Went to collect the car and they said "would you like your car washed sir before you leave" NO!! DON'T TOUCH IT!! I was calm and very polite before he mentioned the word CLEAN with a dirty sponge!! I left the garage rather promptly!!
  4. HOTEL / B&B Boys and Girls....... There are a number of options regarding the accomodation: 1. Stay at Nuerburg - close to the track (Not a great deal of accomodation/eating/drinking options) 2. Stay in the heart of Koblenz (Prices may be higher, parking charges, although options for food and drink increase) 3. Stay just outside of Koblenz (Prices are reasonable, parking is better, if we need the city it's a short taxi) If you can please let me know which option would most suite. To note, Koblenz is about 45 minutes from the Ring, and as per Greekman the roads are rather nice en-route to the Ring (warm up the tyres). There are a large number of hotels and B&B's where I've managed to locate 6 in and around Koblenz. Two of them are nicely located just outside Koblenz, both with a nice setting. I also thought these would be ideal for cleaning the cars/keeping them safe at night. I don't want to list the accomodation just yet as we cannot book the accomodation until the Ring public days have been announced, although I just want to get an understanding of your thoughts on style, location, cost of hotel/B&B. Let me know
  5. I emptied mine with a turkey baster, then connected new one, topped up and job done Looks like a job for next Sunday then. Just out of curiosity, should I be replacing the coolant and steering fluid to do the job properly?? The only doubt I have about this whole this is the bottles have no way of indicating max or low volumes. Therefore if I empty both systems how will I know how much fluid to replace with? There is the alternative of retaining the current fluids I guess?
  6. Gaz, what year is your car? If it's 06+ I'd go for the lower plenum as well, it's a great addition to the spacer and the figures speak for themselves.
  7. I've heard the purple haze brings on nice results, it's something I want to try next. The Supernatural is brilliant, I actually noticed the difference by applying two coats. The only problem is you have to leave 24 hours between each coating. To be fair, I actually give her the full wax treatment every 2-4 weeks. It mainly depends on the weather. Although I have to say this morning I couldn't stop looking at her. I'm in love!! I can't wait for next year when the body kit and wheels are going on. I still need to decide on the front bumper, although 2 are now in my hot list. The rest is pretty much decided upon. With the new camera as well I hope to get some really good before and after shots!! Thanks for the comments guys!! Appreciated!!
  8. Not spacers then? I didn't have any Tyre Dressing left and had forgot to purchase during my last visit to Halfrauds, so sent the Mrs down to get me some (That was of course after the photo's)
  9. Okay here come some cleaning pics, starting from 10am yesterday finishing at 3pm'ish (including some lunch). Then Sunday was the interior, no pics of that, just the smooth (Supernatural) effect!! Please excuse the Mrs' naff camera - I should be getting my new camera within a couple of weeks which should hopefully allow me to get before and after pics (in detail).

    GT5

I've had mine on order for nearly two years and I can't wait. The graphics and detail look truly stunning!!
  11. Looking to replace the above..... Anyone have guides or tips? What are the required fluids to replace, or is it easier to get someone else to do it, cos I'm feeling a tad lazy today
  12. I'm not sure to be honest although I've been informed the selection on this page work with the Zed. http://www.obdkey.com/obd_orders.asp I've already got my iPhone app and will order my odb key next month. It is more expensive but I'd trust my source this works.
  13. Great log of what's going on with the car. What I couldn't get my breath over was the removal of the dashboard area.... all those screws and plastic bits and bobs, how the hell do you manage all of the bits and pieces. I've always had a screw or two left over, or missing.... it's a nightmare to manage. I wouldn't dare invision the pile of screws and bolts you have after removing the interior etc!! Although I guess a lot of the interior won't be going back in, but still!!
  14. Superb lol mother country. Thought you'd made other plans for a minute. Darren you can race if you want just go ahead of us normal drivers
  15. So if you will be in the south of France why is your name on the list Mr Andlid?
  16. Right then, once I get some accomodation prices maybe get your name on the list. Like I say drive like a nutter or take unnecessary risk, a barrier visit is for sure on the cards.... My Mrs said she wouldn't go round the track for the fear of crashing. She managed 3 laps out of the 4 and her comments were "It wasn't as bad as expected". With 8 names on the list, there's also a few Zeds in the Channel Islands that will be meeting us, it should be a brilliant cruise/meet.
  17. Cheers Ekona, I've had a look at their site, seems pretty good. I'll have another good look this evening etc.
  18. Fuel tokens sound like a GREAT idea - I'll grab further info from you both nearer the time. I'll be looking at accomodation for the event over the next few days, so I'll post up pictures and prices for the suggested dates!
  19. Comments in the comments thread Dave!! Backwards in a burning Zed sounds impressive!! Maybe a few somersaults to add a bit of drama? It's not as bad as you think, you won't end up in the barrier unless you want to? I managed 4 laps round the ring and gave it around 85% - although to be fair had my brakes been cooler I might have pushed a bit harder. I'm hoping to wear out my Falkens by April so that I can get some decent rubber!! Put your name down, you won't need lessons, we're not racing and we're not trying to set lap records. It's a bit of fun, cruising through Europe and making the most of the Ring and surrounding areas. Simple! Name on list???
  20. I live in Birmingham and to be fair anything goes round here..... People drive like they are planning a scam crash but don't have any intention of crashing - that's how bad it is here these days!! Interesting read though....
  21. Right, I'm looking to create my own webspace, not sure on the best route for this and how flexible these free sites are on the web? What are my options?
  22. No worries fella - I was rather pleased myself to be honest. I feel very withdrawn over these winter months, not being able to work on the car, either mod's or cleaning her! I was actually thinking myself about doing a build thread from day 1 to current day.... I managed a fair amount of work in 12 months, just looking forward to next year and the exterior of the car
  23. Save WTF are you wearing god damn it! Are you sure that photo should have been sent in
