  1. Well it turns out you can remove the fuse box from the rack using a precision flat screwdriver to press the retainer clip and place a large screwdriver behind the box and fixing plate to lift away from the plate. After all that bother there are no feet stuck in the fuse box as these type of fuses don't have feet So I'm now sending the other half out to get me the right fuse!!
  2. Oh - is it advisable to disconnect battery? I'm sure it is but I'm lazy!!
  3. Mental-chicken-oriental!! Cheers Alex. I noticed the two bolts although wasn't sure if they were relative? It looks as though it just slips onto 4 feet but wasn't sure. Thanks Alex out comes the socket set!! I just hope I can remove these broken feet from the fuse box. Cheers Ian
  4. I have a fuse in the footwell box where the feet have somehow snapped and I have no room by the pedals in which to tweezer the feet back out. So I'm thinking of removing the box to a position so that I may be able to see inside where the fuse sits. So, does anyone know how to remove/dislodge the fuse box?
  5. No worries although the offer is there if you get no joy?

    Lower plenum bolts

I have a 06+ lower collector and upper plenum but no spare bolts?
  7. I'll have one available in April or will that be too late?
  8. I've got one of those sat upstairs. Couldn't be bothered to fit it. It's exactly the same model so I may have a bash at fitting. So there's no internal off switch for the unit? How strange.
  9. It would save getting your hands dirty, save heaps of money from modding and ultimately pleasing to the ear. I want one
  10. First car was an Escort MkII. purchased for £450 but actually worth Zero. How did I find out? Well after modifying it to the nines I got stopped by the police. Policeman very nice chap radio'd to his controller asking about the history of the car. After checking the relevant VIN numbers he proceeded to say that my car is actually 3 cars which he smirked and said the middle part is the piece which I purchased. Luckily I was able to drive home but proceeded to rip the car apart to remove modified parts and took it to the junk yard for the scrap man!! Then after that I had 2 Opel Manta's. Both of which were written off. Neither were the fault of mine. So 3 cars out of 3 turned out real bad. Now that I have the Zed I'm now pennyless!!
  11. Well after talking to Abbey today over the phone whilst being guided to the tensions they believe my belts are fine. Yet it doesn't quite add up. Strange thing is it didn't make the groaning sound tonight so I'm a tad perplexed. Basically the thinest lower down belt must be able to twist 90 degrees. The thicker belt should twist no more than 5mm. Test and see what happens?
  12. I had everything on Sky apart from line rental, speeds were half a meg. Since changing my line rental to sky I get about 1 meg still terrible but don't need hyper fast net. Just shows BT are crap.
  13. Interesting I've got exactly the same thing after having mine changed at Abbey at the weekend. Strangely enough it only happens when the engine is warm. Mine is like a belt groan when pulling away from stationary. I've pm'd Mark last night to find out what needs to be done? When I get a response I'll post up to provide a solution.

    ARC Bankrupt

+1000! Always loved the ARC Titanium Exhaust - $7980!! Love my ARC Induction Kit.... wouldn't sell it for the world!!
  15. I'm on about 18-20 mpg in town and 24-28mpg on the motorway. I think it may have something to do with engine modifications, that some people are getting lower mpg than others?
  16. I'm actually dreading the insurance increases, especially from the last 4 months with everyone quoting insurance has gone up. I feel your pain....
  17. Hmmm Interesting - I think they are the best looking legs I've seen in ages.... I can see why you posted the link now... Oh the car!! Nice!! Although it doesn't look like it's got balls.... Doesn't seem to have the agression, more the case of very nice styling. Have to say - they ARE the best looking doors I think I have ever seen.
  18. +2 very easy. I couldn't even get the strut bar off at first (lack of mechanical skills) - although get the right tools and it's dead simple. I've even replaced my lower plenum - gaining confidence as you go. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=42676&
  19. Like I said - PM the usual to obtain the bolts and the plastic spacers which sit under the central plenum bolts!!
  20. Returning back from Surrey to Birmingham on Saturday there was a nice dry spell.
  21. TBF the iphone carries the 350z forum and my350z very well. Clearly flash is an issue, but no great loss. I don't use itunes if I can help it, not fussed about music on the phone.
