  1. I was going to say that's gota be about 59mph. Sounds aggressive - the pull away will give the best sound for sure. As the road noise on the fly by, I mean drive by hampered the sound.
  2. A LITTLE loud, nah just perfect ha ha I'm going to make some custom made investigations me thinks. See what prices and sound as well as looks options I have. If only there were some more decent sound clips to choose from with the Spectrum Elite.
  3. Totally agree that is no wonder he did the recording away from the general public. This video tempted me
  4. Honeycomb - great a super sweet snack for long journeys. Just the exterior looks for me. sound with test pipes... That could now put me off. I'll have to refine my search the.to get further sound clips. I'm also running the Motordyne XYZ pipe so I guess that could further affect the sound! Hmmmmmm might go down the custom route, make some investigations and look at the options. Cheers
  5. Husky - weight I'm sure will be lighter than oem. Intro - good idea, although I've not got a great deal of confidence in custom made only because I've not had any exposure to them. I guess it could be worth a visit to see what they could do. Rising - the look of the GReddy does it for me most of all and the lack of sound clips urged me to initiate this post. I originally wanted to go down the titanium route although price pushes it out of my market. Bullet - thanks for the price update. Seems a bit pricy, I guess that's not just for the back box? Thanks for the comments so far, it just shows the powere of this forum
  6. I had seen that listed in the states. It scored a good 8 in my record keeping, but me like the blue flamed look. Why did you have to put me off the scent... That means I may have to re-consult my options. It would be interesting to see the price from Tarmac
  7. GReddy of course have a good name, the looks are of course nice, the problem is the lack of sound clips. I don't like the sound of the cheaper easily available exhausts, hence the selection above. It was Adam's site that I found it on originally, but fingers crossed there's a UK supply, which I doubt. I'll also take a look on my350z so thanks for the input on that one.
  8. Yup, already have the rest of the peripherals so it's a blend of cosmetics and any horses that may spring to life although not essential.
  9. As per the title, opinions on the exhaust positive or negative. Looking for food for thought. I've not yet been able to find a UK supplier unless I'm proven wrong. Traders, I'd be interested in price including shipping.
  10. Yeah very brave colour choice. Although if it pulls off it should look friggin amazing! Keep us posted
  11. +1 on the brake fluid. I uprated my pads and was fairly poor with braking, I.e hovering the brake pedal I ended up cooking my fluid half way roundd the Nurburgring. Bit scary hitting a corner at 100mph only to find a soggy brake pedal. I left a small amount of poo on my drivers seat which was cleared up with a bit of wee as I hit the carousel!! My tip even though I've only done 4 laps of the ring would be to enjoy and understand the characteristics of the car before giving it too much whelly!!
  12. That's a good point I forgot to mention the devine sound of the SC. sounds really menacing! Hangover Darren how am I not surprised. Meister I hear you say...
  13. Here you go Note: the dyno report does not take into account any NOS so it gives a true perspective with the mods listed in my sig. Also this is Hub HP rather than Wheel HP. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=42676 If you want to save cash also it's an easy install mod.
  14. +1 same here. The lower collector makes in my eyes makes a nice bhp and torque increase. I'll see if I can find my dyno report. Sound is as Intro says slightly noticeable but for a positive reason. I quote a colleague at work "your engine sounds angry"
  15. I got a knockback from ChrisKnott. I can't remember whether it was because of the Manchester postcode or if it was because of a high volume of claims with that particular model of car. Those are the two knockbacks I had from two different companies. One from each. And I'm 46 with 12 years no claims and keep it garaged!!! It may not be the car which is high risk, it may well be the Garage you are storing it in? There's been an increase in garage theft these days you know.... On a serious note, insurance has become a complete joke just like petrol prices, sooner or later we will all be getting the bus for journeys we make.... oh what a sad day that would be....
  16. Personally I'm glad we are using resources of our planet, in Europe they are everywhere, kinda like a signal to show they are being productive. I agree they can be an eyesore in the countryside, although in Europe there's a lot more land. I believe the majority of the wind farms should be placed in the sea, just off our coasts. Again it will create a visual problem, but if placed stategically they shouldn't prove too much of an eyesore?
  17. I'm with Adrian Flux and they are aware of the Uprev and Plenum Spacer.
  18. Very good the pair of ya! I can see now the purpose.... sign me up for next time. I can see the fun factor in all of that. Darren is clearly the joker and has to play sideways!!
  19. Normally refill under 1/4 tank and before my dte hits Zero. Normally put no more than £50-60 in at at time, why carry around excess fuel all the time. I pop to the fuel station once a week and that suffices, unless there's a long trip planned.
  20. It's the top row, head from where the fuse rectractor sits towards the engine bay and it's the first fuse. Head to page 77 of this pdf document and it's located in fuse 7. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/350Z/coupe/2003/pg.pdf
  21. Yes please and as mentioned I guess it depends on availability of the car as I will for sure be driving out on both days trying to keep up with Colin
  22. I'm afraid that I will be cancelling my attendance to the Ring. My mum died on the 5th March and I'm currently with my father in Hungary (no I'm not Hungarian) to put my mum to rest. Due to various reasons, this has forced my withdrawal from the event. I would hope that (funds depending) I can maybe organise another event in September. I hope this does not stop anyone else attending in April. Thanks Ian
