  1. I haven't read the instructions yet - you have to dilute this then? I have the actual Megs spray bottle and the dilution rate is marked on the label, i.e. There is a mark where to fill with water and then top the rest up with product. Last Touch is diluted 1:1 or can be used undiluted also. Have always diluted myself and it's always done the job. Cheers - I'll get one of those spray bottle things then, nothing like making life easy as they say.

  3. Erm..... like all the time - especially through tunnels!! I'm only kidding by the way......
  4. I was helping Bennett last night with the Videos, there's some kind of upload issue with his broadband, so I have the video he's edited so I shall post it up tonight.
  5. A nice bhp figures like you say although that torque appears a bit lean? With the NOS running 75 shot I'm achieving 300 at the hubs, but then NOS is good for torque and not so great for bhp. I'd swap for the sound of the SC that's for sure!!

    What Oil.

Some cars love it and some don't. Fords love the stuff. I used it in my Suzuki and it's fine. I don't know how people can distinguish the differences what made you not like it? Tasted funny
  7. It's okay, to be fair your last post has made things totally clear. Basically it would be pointless for me to choose the 1:1 map if I was to request multi maps of varying throttle setup.
  8. So - there was no restriction in throttle positions as previously advised? So, hitting the loud pedal before Uprev @ 100% would deliver 100% and exactly the same occurs after Uprev? So the 1:1 Ratio does what exactly? if the 100% throttle position isn't already doing what it should? This goes beyond confusing now....
  9. I wouldn't say that's too bad. Check out the insurance companies listed on the forum. Example: Chris Knott, Adrian Flux, Sky Insurance.... probably more. It depends if you are going to modify the car. I have and found Adrian Flux to be the cheapest for me.
  10. I am thinking the same. 1:1 or Tweaked I guess they are not the same. With the Uprev process you gain the WOT functionality, I guess this is the "Tweaking"? I'm currently happy with my throttle response, so I'd not have a requirement for a 1:1 throttle map. So I believe this would allow me to have multi maps, avoiding the 1:1 map.

    Okay cool. Cheers Neil.

    What Oil.

Ok that's good then. Do you also notice it's a real b!tch to get a clear dipstick reading? Even with the engine cold and a flat surface I get different readings each time. Final question. If Max and Min are gauged on the dipstick, how much oil is required to fill from Min?
  13. Would this not be possible to put it as an extra map, so when it's turned on the cruise won't work(for track only so it doesn't matter) but then switch back to normal map without the throttle 1-1 for road use and cruise control would work again? I like your thinking on this one Neil....

    What Oil.

If the rating of oil is the same, are there any issues using a different brand of oil for top ups between service intervals?
  15. Sounds good - thanks Mark. I'll be in touch some time in July when I've managed to save some cash!!
  16. Ahhh what a shame the Cruise would be lost. Okay so I use Cruise only on the motorway, but it is a nice luxury when the legs and brain get a bit tired. How many maps can be installed? How would you change the maps when driving. i.e. Driving in Germany, eco for the motorway, and once you hit the Autobahn flick on the Performance map. Can this be done whilst driving or does the engine need to be turned off to initiate any further maps? Also what sort of prices come with installing additional maps?
  17. I guess everybody is going to be different, mainly because it depends if they are just going for the Uprev on it's own, to benefit the throttle response and fuel savings, or for those going with a couple of mods or more etc. Personally, I love the throttle response, I never noticed any fuel savings as my mpg went south! The benefit of the remap for me was purely to allow the mods to be mapped. Something I'd like would be multi maps. Valet Mode Economy Middle of the road (not literally of course) Performance
  18. I stole mine.... (shhh don't tell anyone!)
  19. For detecting the rooms a bit further away. Either that or i will be stalking the corridors in the early hour's You might as well take a long some score cards and leave them either on their car in the morning or under their room door??
  20. Beavis, you won't need a glass against the wall, they are thin walls remember!!
  21. Even an auto? I suspect it's just a precaution against leaving the car in gear without realising, nothing more sinister than that. I avoid Auto cars, I find them annoying!! (No disrespect to those who own auto's) although I find the only use is stuck in heaps of traffic either in London or stuck on a motorway. Apart from that Auto boxes have no room in my life. Unless it has flappy padles!!
  22. I doubt there'd be any issues trying to start the car without depressing the clutch. It's only going to be a switch mechanism to the ignition and without being depressed it just won't start. I would throw in a random guess that in depressing the clutch can be deemed as an added security measure, further to this starting the car with the clutch depressed is also easier for the engine to turn over, as there are less moving parts in contact with the engine on startup. I always start ANY car with the clutch depressed, just pure habit!
  23. Cheers Rothers, I've been waiting a VERY long time to put all the parts of the jigsaw together. I actually took delivery of my chargespeed bumper back in November, so you can imagine the anticipation. I'm hoping it will be Wed/Thur latest next week that it's fitted to my car. (Very close to Wales I know). In terms of prices, I would guess RT will notify once they've worked out the cost of fabrications etc.
