See you enjoyed that

That is about the only option. You'll be surprised how much you can fit in the spare wheel area. We travelled Europe foe 10 days with camping gear, bedding pillows, clothes and car bits. It's a logistical nightmare but can be done. You just have to be very careful with your selection of baggae. The Mrs should be restricted to just two pairs of footwear as these clog up the luggage space very easily. Also one small makeup bag and not a salon of items. You'll get it in there, just need to be clever with baggage and negotiating with the Mrs

Japspeed drift Subaru stolen from Santa pod

That's just not right. Imagine if it was your car, can you imagine the pain. I think I'd go raving bonkers!! A great shame as it's garaunteed to be stripped. -
Sounds good Will, bet you can't wait. Good luck. Oh tell Bennett I'll no longer accept calls from him from this day forward After sending him a text wishing him a safe journey I didn't get a reply, so that's it, it's OVER!!

Interesting and captivating at the same time. Good to see a flow if photos. Whenever I do work on the car I take the before photos get to work, totally forget about taking photos as I'm so engrosed that I forget to take any at all until it's done. Just one question, with the extra tension, will that create extra friction and cause the belt to wear sooner? Good work by the way

Is that the one where a Fezza is in front and the Zed boots it?

the guys with experience of s2000-4u will be along shortly I've heard and seen the agro with cars that have come from there

As long as its not mechanically a "dog" then no problem. We all understand the dealer and their lack of customer service, so cleaning a car is nothing too much to worry about. But if the dealer sells a car which has items such as worn tyres they are likely to replace or reduce price. I see what you're saying and judgement should prevail to sift out the "dogs". I found my car via the Nissan dealership website.
-
You can look at a selection of vehicles through their second hand section, set your price distance and just maybe you'll find the car you want?
-
You'll get there in the end, have you tried Nissan dealers?
-
I've already thought of that but it won't fetch that amount of cash. I'd be looking at a grand if that. I even thought about selling my decats and xyz pipe, lower plenum strut brace the lot, but I'd want a number of those items especially air flow items to stay. I'll come round and cook evening meals for six months if you'll take a grand. Only problem is my speciality is Italian and I'm rubbish at everything else. I suppose I could sell my carbon boot as well. If it's still available in 3 months time I'll take it, but can't do right now (sob, snivel)

I'd want to see that someone loved their car and showed the greatest respect for the upkeep and condition. Although painful to leave a car behind there will be better examples at a better price and you'll know when that is Remember these cars cost a lot to maintain and to care for, you don't want to purchase one that needs "work"
-
He sounds like someone who can't be bothered and if that be the case the car maybe has some underlying problems which were never taken care of. When selling a car you pit it in tip top condition, if after the first offer the car was not sold and issues highlighted it would be in his interest to sort the tyre at least. He can't be bothered and I'd walk away. There are plenty more Zeds in the sea.

Me too, been doing the maths and I just can't quite reach that far. My balance is on lockdown after the last 6 months of spending. Although if things pan out well over the next three months I could be in a strong position to purchase, but I doubt VERY much it will still be for sale by then

Suzanne the LS3 6.2 V8! Caution very long build thread....

Brown you have a PM   Buster I agree would have looked neat with the V2's. Get your plate fitted and it'll look perfect   Neil, just make sure with the lines they won't get damaged or near anything which gets warm or hot. If they kink in any place it will affect your psi pressure getting to the jets. Both myself and Tony420z have the pulsoids mounted on the brake fluid reservoir area. This is a good location although if you want it perfect place them as close to the air intake/throttle body as you can. The shorter the distance between pulsoid and intake is a WIN. Although with placing them in the battery area is a little restrictive, but the best place to put them. Your hit will be better and stronger. A shame the WON controller can't be used, but there's nothing stopping you getting the Wizards pulsoids and controller at a later date if you wanted. Good that you have a local garage with experience. Insurance I pay £800 per year, which allows me to have all my mods listed in this thread. If I increase BHP I have to inform them. If I stick on new wheels, bodykit some aeroplane wings, a shark fin on the roof I still inform them, BUT anything cosmetic costs me nothing with the insurance company. That includes wheel spacers which I noticed had been mentioned in another thread. I could even slap a wooden shed on the roof, again no price change in insurance. I may start a thread in the near future to go through the different instal types, basic medium or luxury install. The Pro's and Con's also the risks and benefits of using NOS in comparison to going full FI. Oh Ricey cheers fella. I shouldn't have any spark plug parts at the bottom of my engine. If anyone who doesn't know, I cooked my front spark plugs due to running lean. Issue I am sorting at the moment. Any questions fire away. PS I'll be at the Lakez if anyone wants to gander at the install. -

Interesting: There's no official Euro NCAP crash rating for the 350Z but all UK-specification models come with ABS, electronic stability control, high performance Brembo brakes plus front, side and curtain airbags. There's also a lightweight carbon fibre 'safety propeller shaft' which is strong, has no weak link and is said to be safer in a crash.
-
They are... have you SEEN the crashes/speed/stupid stuff the American kids do in them? To be honest the build quality of the Zed isn't fantastic, (Slim) after seeing the build quality of your fathers car (Merc) there's a massive difference. I bet if you removed the drivers door from both vehicles. The weight of the Merc door in comparison to the Zed door I'd say could potentially be twice the weight. Why? Cos it's built for safety. I don't believe the Zed would stand up that well in a major crash, yet we all like to have some spirited drives. That's tempted me to investigate the NCAP ratings......

NeilP has recently moved over to the dark side, so why not more people. It's not the whole hog FI, and it's one step beyond N/a. -

It's no bother as it looks funny, still keep laughing at the burning man and my bespoke GT spoiler. The garage thing I think is a good idea, but wanted to join in with the others with a build thread considering I've been here that long now. I NEED NOS! -

Hold on a minute - I go into a meeting for an hour I come back and I'm being abused. That's NOT what this thread is about. Husky the scaling is a bit out, wrong eye colour but you're almost there. Great vid Slim!! "I need NOS" might use that phrase a bit more
