  1. If you checkout my garage you'll see some of the prices for the kit along with the below thread for install from Abbey viewtopic.php?f=30&t=28423&hilit=+Nitrous To note Uprev copes with the NOS although a standalone ecu is recommended. Cost of install all depends on how flush you are with the cash. My 2 5lb bottles are in the glove box. I also have an upgraded NOS controller for greater flexibility. Controlling the NOS is provided by a throttle switch. If over 85% throttle NOS is fired, although set by the controller to initiate at any given rpm value. Mine is set to 3,500 to 7,000 If you have any direct questions fire away.
  2. Yes its a few extra miles above average & if i was worried about Depreciation I definitely wouldnt of bought this car. Im very happy with it & enjoy my job more knowing im driving it & spending upto 3 hrs a day in it Im the envy of all my care worker colleagues & everyone else who sees it on the road, specially my Audi TT acquaintance Fair point, I use mine daily for work, but no business miles shall we say. I do enough miles getting to meets and shows - and that does my head in as the service is due every 9k miles. So if you're doing 30k a year, that's 3 services a year!! I know what you mean though about driving the Zed.... Why purchase a car just for weekends, especially something that sounds and looks amazing!
  3. I can't believe you'd want to use the Zed for business miles. 3 years and 90k miles including personal. That's going to seriously depreciate the Zed. Maybe thought of having a cheaper business car?
  4. That's mad. I guess you'll try sky as well. You'll get there just a case of finding the right company
  5. Interference, bad earth, loose connection?
  6. Speak with Sky or flux and you'll get a better quote.
  7. Tell them the exhaust won't increase your chances of crashing, that's purely governed by the driver. Tell them you want to speak with their most senior staff member. If exhausts make you crash what does NOS do, increase the chance of drug taking and murders. I'm running 309 to the hubs which is about 60+ hp. A gain of 23% I think. I've got ALL my mods including bodykit declared that's like £8k's worth and my insurance with Adrian Flux is £1k a year. I have 8years no claims, no points, aged 37 and live in wonderful high risk Birmingham. Speak with a specialist company such as sky or Adrian flux. Don't whatever you do trade off the Miltek, you will get a better quote.
  8. Agree with Lexx On this unless it's mapped you'll get no extra bhp and you'll never get 30bhp from the exhaust alone. Unless it was aided by FI. Tell them you e made a mistake and the exhaust is a direct replacement and just looks real nice!
  9. Cheers both I'll update the garage and hopefully that's it!!! Sterling work I have to say.
  10. Any joy on the last of my mods Chris, keen to get it completed so that I can see the full picture.
  11. Not sure who makes them, but those under chasis braces? Shire has one and loves it, only problem is you'll gain a bit more weight, but stability would be improved. Not sure on price. You could go for a Carbon boot, although just over the 500 buck limit, especially if you need to paint it to keep it stealth. Edit: Well said Jim - hence the Carbon boot
  12. When my car was snapped by the unfriendly camera it was 9:30pm. They must watch you going round and strangely as it was the last camera bet they thought "best get him". Like I say there were no warning speeds on any of the gantries. Let's just say I learnt my lesson.
  13. Have a look the two pics properties Well spotted Colin. I never noticed the difference using the forum 99% on my phone, but at work bored having a gander and noticed the difference.
  14. Husky, I think I've just noticed, have you touched this picture up a bit? Looks better?
  15. +1 (Not sure Insurance will deal with it, small claims I guess).
  16. It's a joke a god damn joke I tell you..... Our roads are cack!! Rant over as I'm bound to burst a blood vessel again!!!!!
  17. Selling my Zed will be THE most traumatic event in my life and I shy away from the day. Maybe that day will never come. I love my zed, she IS my other woman! I was on holiday last month fir a week. 3 days in I was missing her, she doesn't purr or growl when I'm not around. 2 days left on my holiday when everyone is dreading coming home, me on the other hand can't wait. I got back cleaned her the same day and took her fir a spin. I don't think I'll get that feeling with ANY other car!
  18. Last year the car was sort of oem apart from exhaust and NOS. this year I have the Eibach spring, hel lines, motul fluid, DBA discs and ferodo pads. So I'm hoping I'd get under 10 mins just from better braking because last time I cooked the fluid. But the. I'd still be worried about tyre's. When I go for a full weekend at the ring next year I'll have the tyre's as well. So I'm almost there. Just need to sort the driver out then
  19. Played Gran Tourismo till my fingers bled! I think I have a better perspective not just of the route but the experience of camber and track layout. I'd hope to crack a Sabine driving the Transit van.
  20. Andlid, I'm running Falkens and they are rubbish when warmed up. The tyre wall is pants and after the amount of squeal I was getting going round corners but not even pushing it I'd rather upgrade to sp2's then we can go faster in the corners. To be fair there's a lot to learn. Previously I was braking at crests which I shouldn't have been doing as the other side was either straight or a slight bend. Then the next crest you think oh yeah that's the fast crest cancel that it's a hard left handed, on with the Brake!!!!!!!!
  21. I'm going for that stuff I believe when I next visit RT Performance for my paint correction. I'd be glad of some sort of protection my front bumper is once again a dot to dot canvas!!
  22. That's friggin awesome. Brave, out of my 4 rookie lapsninmanage 10:20. I guess in say 50 laps time I should be able to get to 10:00 Looking to stop by there 3rd/4th September. Now that I've made suspension and brake changes I'm hoping this will give me hope to be Sabine driving a transit van!! Good show on the time (still a long way for me to go)
  23. That is a sexy exhaust. I hate this forum sometimes it keeps teasing me
