    Perfect Z...

Just thinking about this Americans don't require a front plate? Seems a bit pointless for the American market. But that zed is the Nutz! Love the big brake kit, makes it look dead mean! +1 on that spoiler it goes well with the chargespeed rear, despite I vowed never to drill my carbon boot I could make an exception
  2. Look out Joy !!...... hes still got some blue paint left Did you not know that Graham drives a blue car, lives in a blue house, with blue furniture, white goods are blue, in fact I'm sure all his video collection maybe blue too?? No seriously that's pretty good work there Graham - wish I was a dab hand with the paint can/brush! But then again I have a little project up my sleeve for the next best of show (I'm gonna steel Shires engine)
  3. Nice one cheers Lexx these where the guys I purchased my gauges from. Might do me a discount. Cheers guys
  4. RT Performance are also Hexis authorised supplier and fit. You've all got me thinking now hmmmmm
  5. Having the mic in the middle is surprisingly handy, me and the other might share a phone call, it happens! It's also out the way of any cleaning duties. Must agree though with having passengers they weigh a ton! (compromises performance) and when you drive the car daily to all of a sudden have a passenger it really does make a difference. Especially when I've gone to the trouble of losing car weight only to put it back in
  6. I rest my case I ran my cable all the way round the A pillar over the screen behind the headlining and just left of the visor, so that a passenger can talk on the phone without struggling to reach the mic on the A pillar without shouting
  7. I'm only doing the one Ian as oil pressure is already covered. What's the price? Could you source a fix to the bung? Cheers

  9. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get hold of a Oil Block Adapter. Basically I want to monitor oil temps. Adam @ Z1 has this which looks quite smart and bolts on between engine and oil filter. http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?mode ... rodid=4217 Any other idea's around to save me the wait and potential cost from the US, i.e. a UK supplier! All help and assistance greatly accepted.
  10. It actually looks like the wing isn't snugging up to the light?
  11. That's probably right, there's a vented piece of plastic bottom left of the steering wheel. I thought that was some sort of climate sensor? Daft place to put a mic if you ask me! May not be so difficult to tap into this then. Nearly there eh!
  12. If your looking for the oem on I'd say that could be tricky, my headunit wasn't phone ready so bought JVC Bluetooth kit which comes with standalone mic and fitted that instead of trying to fathom out which wire if any would be used for the mic?
  13. Me too, need a lottery win to provide me with endless opportunities. Might as well take the Zed round
  14. If that's not fun I don't know what is why didn't you chance taking the Zed on The backwards action occurred quite a bit, great work with all the camera angles, it was like you had your own film crew there
  15. That's like seeing an ex you were madly in love with. Painful
  16. I wax mine also, keeps them cleaner for longer. There's no harm in doing it. A mate of mine used to wax his windscreen, odd I know but did a surprisingly good job, until I introduced him to RainX. If I polish and wax the headlights they come up brand new, and stay that way too

  18. 06 revup+ had a modification to the internals of the air intake box with a longer velocity stack. This will improve (very minimal) air flow. Your pre revup won't benefit from a lower plenum change, but the spacer will. If the 07 plate is MY07 this has twin intakes and as far as I know it's not possible withought a LOT of ££££ to swap this with your 53plate. If you are keen to spend some cash get the plenum spacer and the improved velocity stack from RTbuscuit. Pm him or search his member trader area.
  19. I heard that having more than one tip isn't the most efficient spark for a Zed. I can't recall the 'official' reason but told to remain on a single tip
  20. I guess you have a pre revup engine, ie pre 2006? If so changing the lower collector won't benefit and a plenum spacer is all you need.
  21. Hope it's ready for the BBQ as I'll want a sound check!
  22. HA HA HA ... working hard on a Friday afternoon Ian? Friday is ALWAYS curry and pint day, as well as Wendesday, and if there's any birthdays or people leaving. So there's always a reason to head to the pub, even if it's 3-4 times a week!
