  1. Need some forum assistance if possible. Basically I want a wordpress plugin or page that will provide a pricing table as exampled below. There are some which are chargeable or the rubbish ones which are free. I only want the page to display pricing and maybe links etc but nothing technical which takes you to e-commerce payment systems. If anyone has any ideas of how to proceed as I don't really want to pay £10 just for an information page. I know that sounds a bit scrooge but unless it's purpose is more technical I'd be more than happy to pay.
  2. If only just painted you'll have to wait a fair few weeks for the paint to completely harden. Your bodyshop should have mentioned this.
  3. probs a good few months as i wont have time to get down for it. I'm gonna keep sending bits down to them as time passes to add onto it also. Wish it was sooner though, missing her already If you want me to pick her up for you
  4. I don't have any rasp from the japapeed decats, but wonder if that's because of the xyz pipe
  5. It's different may not look the greatest but simple and serves your purpose http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews ... sport.html
  6. I'd be worried about scraping the underside of the car due to the lower height. In addition for better snow driving you need thinner dimensions to penetrate snow. I'd just take a sensible car if doing a lot of winter condition driving
  7. As you say it depends on usage and shot size, for example I used roughly 3lb of NOS on a 75 shot for 1 lap of the Nurburgring, so that's 12 miles.
  8. That same thought came across my mind after the install. On a budget you could achieve a 75 shot for no more than £1,200 Say you spend £800 with wizards which covers the basics, system, bottle, controller. This gives you £400 for tuning. The problem I had which threw my budget well out the water is the way I have my system installed (super stealth) and the fact I have 2 bottles and run the Max Extreme Controller which alone is knocking on £500. So in all fairness you'd never achieve the same horsepower for the same cash with NA mods. Don't forget you can upgrade parts or add to the system later on which you can't really do with SC or Turbo. Seriously think about it.
  9. Happy Birthday Chris, hope you have a good'un
  10. I'm running the DS2500 on the front and Performance friction Z compound on the rear. Never had any braking issues but to be you'd probably notice more on the track. Never noticed anything adverse fast road either? Maybe I won't notice as much because they are both updated pads? Maybe if running higher performance up front and oem on the back I may notice a difference.
  11. I'll be there next time as I'd like to avoid shifting 3 cubic metres of logs
  12. no map = problems. NOS and Fuel in addition to a normal map you just won't get the right performance and potentially put a damage the engine. If you value your Zed a map is imperative. As mark has mentioned you can have 2 maps one for normal and one for NOS. Each jet increase will need a map every time. But when you look at the cost to go from 25 to 75 shot it's very cheap
  13. Spotted 7:40am, as you crossed the roundabout, couldn't check registration plate, and you probably wouldn't have seen me.
  14. Pressure washer is fine, even when my snow foam enters behind the mirror I give it a good blasting to remove the suds. It won't hurt, although you may have a rather drowned spider.... nice write up by the way! (Especially trying to get the critter to jump ship!)
  15. That is a fair point..... Booooom clangalangalanga clangalanga.... "Parp!"
  16. Several of us have already explained the "Engine go BOOM" concept to him - but he is very determined is our Neily! The US boys have been running 100 shot for quite some time without any issues, which is why I wanted to increase to 100, but pointed away from the idea. It won't go boom, it'll go more like clangalangalanga as the metal objects bounce off the tarmac. I'm sure 100 will be fine.... just make sure you get the fueling right and all will be fine, unless there's any engine stress and erm..... clangalangalanga clang.....
  17. Neil good to see a thread posted, although I'm a bit behind on my posting..... (holiday). Good to see the start of things to come..... bet you can't wait to come back to a car NOS'd up. Interesting to see how the 100 shot fair's up. I was going to do 100 shot, but recommended not to by Abbey.
  18. Here's an easy link for you - lowered 30mm too. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/garage_veh ... icle&VID=5 And before you ask - do I scrape..... YES!
  19. Agreed, it even sounds gorgeous in 4th gear pootling along say 40mph and then just plant the go pedal, it's like a growling monster being woken till it hits 3k rpm.... (I can hear it now ).
  20. In simple terms. Pop Charger Good for sound Not so good for heat soak As a result "claims" of slight power losses RTCustomz Airbox Returns the sound to OEM (Although can't remember what that sounds like as it was some 2 years ago) Great for heat soak, as the plastics take longer to get hot As a result "very slight" increase in power Me personally, if I lost 2bhp because of heat soak, I really can't be fussed. If I lost 10+ bhp then I'd be worried. If you want sound, go for the pop, if you want to retain oem response and no sound go for the RTcustoms box. It's all about how YOU want your car to sound. I will never get rid of my ARC Air Induction, it looks the nuts, sounds the nuts and erm.... isn't made of nuts

    Dodgy Carbon?

+1 mine is about 98% perfect, although when I'm down in October you can copy my boot (Seibon) and adjust the imperfections if you wanted? Something I'd like, which can cost a fair few £££ is a new carbon engine cover and cooling panel. As you know I had to take my cooling panel off because of the front bumper, but would be keen to get a replacement to aid airflow with the bumper air duct.
  22. +1 that IS the case as I am currently finding out!!
