  1. Don't worry I have the same problem. It's about prioritising cash flow. Totally agree about wearing trousers when they're not around. We all just hate arguments and the wrath of the female "look" they give in disgust, that sort of look which sends shivers down your spine. Get the 2J done and enjoy her. You will feel accomplished and then you have solid grounds to move to another car - if she allows you of course
  2. Thats the thing though, its like a month from completion - Do i finish it and use it for a while and just advertise it for sale or just sell up before I finish? I really want to finish it but at the same time, I really want/need another R34 Oh come on, get this finished, enjoy it, sell it if you must. It'll be such a shame to put all that effort in for nothing. That's like arranging a date with your dream date who's mad up for it, then cancel her 10 mins before the date/humpy pumpy. Finish your hard work and then move on.
  3. I think you require a for the most unfinished projects! Get a grip, finish this project!!
  4. I've got a pair of new unused rocker cover gaskets I can send for £20+ postage. I was going to get them up on the forum last weekend but just never got round to it.
  5. To be honest 50Ibs for the driver seat is about right to be totally honest.
  6. Not sure but you can find most 350z part weights in this thread..... http://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/416242-z-part-weights-with-pictures-4.html I'm sure there's another one very similar on there. This is how I worked out the loss of 66kg when I was doing my weight loss exercise!
  7. Drivers seat is just under 50Ibs, passenger seat less as it only has one electric motor.
  8. Is it this Ian . . Is it this? Ha ha no, but why cut that small patch of grass go find a football field and open it up lol. Same plan just plan B when it comes to finishing off, but there are a couple of options.
  9. Cheers matey, and of course that initial inspiration. Look at Ya now a fully fledged modder without any assistance needed
  10. Have ye faith..... 2015 yes! June - it's an aiming point, if it's July I'm still happy but August, nah..... I'll not be happy if that be the case. I have a suitable contingency plan.
  11. Well Brakes, wheels, Bodykit, wrap, are car items rather than LS required items, otherwise I may as well add, hold on let me calc..... Another £5k, ish. Then I want seats, another 2k! But recouping costs I'll have sold (at the end) £7k of parts.
  12. So you register 225 tq at 2,250 rpm Peak at just past 3,500 rpm at call it 460tq then you're out of torque! Also that's flywheel...... you're there, but not quite nice try! Also, I've quoted stock for the LS3, with the headers, exhaust and intake I should be well ahead of the stock figures. Once everything is accounted for and tuned, including CAMS, I'll be pushing 550 at the hubs, not the fly young man, who does fly these days anyway......!
  13. My budget for the LS3 is £15k. Currently at £13k with my expectation to hit £16k just over budget, but with 300 Ib-ft of torque at 2,000 rpm peaking at 428 Ib-ft at 4,600 rpm (stock) you can't buy that for a 350z unless you spend monumental amounts of money. This is why I never went TT or SC.
  14. My ARC Catch Can will be for sale at some point. Needs a repair to the oil level indicator then it will be up for sale. Ha ha Martin I remember that message so well
  15. I have a set of used (now pale blue) Rays Duraluminum nuts. Very expensive and hard to find, unless you purchase from America/Japan, watch out for fake copies!
  16. Just for the engine and gearbox, prop shaft and ancillaries for the engine £7,200 inclusive of customs charges and delivery.
  17. I have Russell, I'll send you a PM in the morning with the necessary details
  18. Variation...... That's important, in effect what Dan said but in one word. Variation. Software is half the process especially with different effects, slow, flicker, blur. If the video is what you want to achieve why not take out 3-4 ideas from it and start playing. Our resident DjTimo (TC Media) can give you tips and one of my favourite of his is this.
  19. Same here..... Old! And NEW!* (*doesnt actully run yet )
  20. Then found the transmission was rubbing on the tunnel, easy as one, two, HAMMER!!
  21. Here we go..... How to adjust for any rubbing. Alternator is revised in the 2010 LS3 and so is positioned higher up than previous models.
  22. Hmmmmm a meet with 3 people isn't exactly popular
  23. Good work my good man My custom prop should be ready end of next week. He's had the prop parts for about 6-8 weeks and only just started. I "should" get my car back this Friday for stage 3. We had to make adjustments in the engine bay. I'll upload a couple of vids.
