  1. RS4 all the way, covers every angle in my book. If I don't get a 370 next it'll be the RS4.
  2. Same thing here with kids. Driving through a small village (whilst checking the roads out for the last midlands meet) and there's a small group of kids sat on and around a bench, the village was quiet and of course they heard the rumble of the V6, I glanced over to the left and as I did they all jumped and shouted "kwoaaaar - that is sick!!" You kinda get the feeling of driving something from fast and furious, it's a superb feeling and I believe because it's not a Porsche a Ferrari or Lamborghini you get treated differently, as it's showing off but in a polite way with the Zed.
  3. I was informed release is next year now
  4. Already seen those pics keep up Nice seats to keep that arse firmly in place when you engage the you know what
  5. Is this a joke cos that is what you call friggin amazing! Not sure such a thin phone would cope with being sat on in your pocket or bent in half if in your rear pocket when sat down. If this is actually made it's bloody awesome!
  6. I'm really surprised the numbers are so low! Last year was a full house. Seriously consider making the trip for those who'd like to know not just the basics but more in depth ways of maintaining your paintwork. Not only that, but the knowledge of products, what they do and how they work. For me it was a great day out and provided some missing gaps to start my own detailing venture. Even if you don't learn anything, the discounts and free items (if there are any) are worth going for. Come on people get your name down it's highly recommended
  7. Ha ha Bullet that is so true, play the game understand the layout then BAM!! The ring as you say does overload you with corners, cars, traction, fear, the barriers. I timed all my laps just so that I had an understanding of my dedication to push a bit harder. My first lap was 12:30s then 11:10 with my best lap 10:20 which I wanted 10:00 so that I could claim to beat a girl in a transit van, but failed. The Ring is amazing, nothing can prepare you for the sensation. It's like looking at the scariest roller coaster and plucking the balls to get on and enjoy it as well as surviving. I will have another bash at organising another trip for next year.
  8. Chris I need to make a bolt investment. Can you let me know exactly what bolts you can replace and in which colours. Ianphampton tells me you can supply my needs
  9. And how the he'll does a Rover SDI get in the list for heck sake!!
  10. This is blade silver, which there is clearly a difference
  11. Oooops a bit late in catching up with this thread, clearly I need to have a chat with Tarmac.

I thought it would be odd if the angle of the sensor could affect idle. The problem was fixed when I moved it to it's oem position, so maybe it was the connector. It's all fine now.
  13. Jealousy! Say hello to Bennett whilst you're out there, you can't miss him, just listen out for the loudest Zed in the world, well 2nd to Husky with his backbox bypass. Trust me you won't miss hearing it! Enjoy the weather is perfect!

I'm not so fussed to be fair, it was only a little idea to tidy things up. I can't be added to dismantle everything just for the wires. Unscrewing the MAF from my ARC is a bit of a headache, as my ARC is a tight squeez and takes a bit of fiddling to get out. I'll leave it where it is

Don't scare me mate! Otherwise I am going home and making that MAF sensor fit! What I was going to post earlier, but refrained, was.... I put the maf sensor back after cleaning my air filter in the ARC and when replaced I replaced my MAF with the plug for the MAF sticking up, it made sense for me so to keep the wiring tidy. In doing so I noticed the revs were hunting a little. In my diagnosis I blamed the MAF, so I corrected the position and rotated the MAF connection angled to the bodywork. This fixed my revs from hunting? So in all fairness I'm agreeing with Alex on this one.

(not allowed to say anything cos Abbey have posted - best look for an alternative thread instead)
  17. Lots of preperation and a good wax and LSP LSP = Lots of Sexual Pleasures???
  18. True, it took 2 full days just to read the story from the start, we are currently on day 6 of the evidence, which is basically a schedule of events, we're only 2/3 of the way through this, and another 3 days more before the defendants are up. We're talking 5 ton of drugs here, no small time dealer!
  19. Really? Must be a serious case is it? I know you can't say but can you indicate if its a "white collar" crime or something more serious? It's already been in the news and on the net. So I can give you this link. It's hard work let me tell you! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-no ... e-14995731
  20. I'm not normally a fan of red cars unless it's Ferrari but Andy's does look the mutts nutz!
  21. Wow, just wow. Great advert for your work mate, very nice. I'm going to be working on Bennetts car next as I know his has a fair few swirl marks and it would be nice to example a few Zeds on here. I'm also in contact with a number of suppliers from places such as Australia, Cyprus and America for samples of their products to see what's out there
  22. Bored listening to the prosecution for the last 2.5 weeks and still another 10 weeks of jury service to go. Then working Sat and detailing Sunday, but at least I can see the Sun
