  1. Kiingsi - it's a Motodyne XYZ pipe which runs a single race cat which is high flow and passable by the MOT centre. I then ditched the heavy restricting cats for Japspeed de-cats. The video doesn't do it justice really, where a number of people have said it doesn't sound far off a Nismo.
  2. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!!!!! Looking forward to the meets and friends of the forum, and to enjoy the Zed we all love and cherish. Have a prosperous year everyone
  3. The track has already been used on TV, watched the advert, loved the track, rang Lexus, found out the name of the track and bought the album. Since then I've always had a corner on my cd shelf for their albums. Never heard of them till the advert. I'm a keen sunset in Ibiza chap, so for me it's great chill out music. Here's the original advert
  4. Happy Birthday Rich..... Thought I'd let you see the results of the Evo Trianlge sticker you sent down a while ago
  5. Try Theivery Corporation "Until the morning" for some backdrop music. Great track for the Zed (may as well post a link)
  6. Anyone watch it this evening? Very funny in places, of course the usual staging of disasters but thoroughly enjoyable
  7. I had mine done via Abbey, the company they use is very good. Also RT now offer powder coating, have a chat with Spurs Dave.
  8. Great a load of tips, I'll have a bash tomorrow night then! Coldel pm'd me with tips also - great forum as always
  9. I was using the standard lens that came with the camera, but have a fixed 50mm which the Mrs got me for crimbo, as advised by her friend who is a photographer, maybe I should drag her along for some photo guidance I did check the ISO and it was set to Auto, but everything else I set manually. Thing is, there's so many options to play with, focal length, ISO, Aperture, shutter speed it's like trying to do 4+ things at once ending up with a mess lol. Why the Auto function doesn't just do as I ask I don't know I wouldn't have to mess around with manual instead.
  10. Superb thanks both, I'll have a play around this week and increase the shutter speed further, but I found in doing so made the surrounding too bright for my liking. Agreed Andy the orange lighting didn't help but I'll search around for some more locations. I'll also have a bash with the torch, as I've seen others make use of imaginative lighting. It will be interesting to see how or if my new lens will make any difference
  11. Cheers for the comments, I thought the 4th was really good till you spotted the tyre. I just parked the car and snapped and didn't think to adjust the wheel direction, point taken and will remember for the future. The speed I was using ranged from 1.5 to 2.5 and camera used is a Canon EOS 500D, with standard lens. I received for Christmas a fixed 50mm so I may have a bash with that as well next time but wanted to use my standard lens with zoom. Under exposed, how would I correct that?
  12. Well, since Christmas has now settled down for a few days before new year I thought it would be appropriate to wash the Zed and take her out for a mini photo shoot to learn the next level of photography. I must add I'm still learning how to use the manual settings and learning how to find the best angle. Any comments are welcome to help me along.... but as I was rather proud of my attempt I thought I'd share them for comments..... (I have to say the pics via my laptop look naff in comparison to viewing these on the playstation )
  13. I'm afraid mine consists of three great gifts from my other half. A new camera tripod, polarising lens and best of all a macro lens for close up pics for my detailing. Thanks Jayne
  14. And don't I know it..... But since my last visit to RT I think my front lip is a fraction higher and I've not yet scraped, but for looks and being able to boot it in hindsight I should have done coilovers which will be sourced in the new year.
  15. He's running Meister R coilovers. I'm running Eibach and Adrian is running Tein springs. The coilovers are the way to go in my opinion as you have the option for adjustment. Looking good though Mr G
  16. BIG merry Christmas to ALL. It's been over 2 years of being a member, some great times and great people met along the way. Hope you ALL have a great Christmas and New Year. Not long now till the nicer weather comes along to blast the Zed again.
  17. Looking good, nice Vid, not quite as good as your last but still nice. I can see you're enjoying the shooting and editing. Almost giving me the bug to 'have a go'. Just out of curiosity, do you use a normal tripod for the detailed shots or anything special to give true level sweeping shots? Like
  18. This wouldn't be Liam's old car would it? "Greeny"?? Looking good!
  19. Ha ha sorry didn't realise there'd been a question fired at me. Erm... Really undecided as it's such a marmite response received. Thing is I'm not currently using the car at the moment and have driven her 3 times in 3 months because of Jury service. So I reckon once January pops along I'll put the badge on and see how I feel about. I agree with a lot of the comments but feel the back end just needs a little tweak we shall see how it goes. Cheers for the assisting comments everyone
  20. Mr G said to me not so long ago and I quote "that's it for me and mods" Hmmmmm.....
  21. Looking good Mr G, so what's the next mod
  22. What they are trying to compare is the following..... The Renault Against the 370z Yes the Renault may be fun and give you a bad name, but I'd rather take home the 370z and enjoy the ride and show her off as much as possible
  23. I have one sat at RT Performance in Kew, near as damn it in Mint condition, also have side skirts if you're interested?
