  1. Mer never liked the stuff. Agreed with the hard wax, find it lasts way longer than liquid and provides a far better deeper gloss shine, especially the Dodo Supernatural, love the stuff. I've had my tub nearly 2 years now and only half way through it, and that includes using it on customer cars as well. Very good value for money.
  2. To be honest I think the canards are very much personal choice, they are very marmite and as such the decision should be a sole decision. I like them, but only on a vehicle with a aggressive look. There's no way I could fit them to mine, it would just look odd, although it's really up to personal oppinion I'd say.
  3. Don't worry I'm up to speed. Caught the shortened version. I can't see Neil not attending the Lakez, as his car will be ready for then, and I can't see Neil holding back the temptation to get a prize!!
  4. Have I missed something? What's going on?
  5. ^^^^ that's what I thought first time, but you blend in just like a normal meet and it's a great laugh. Just look out for me and Jayne and Darren and Steph at the bar and you'll be havin a whale of a time. If Beavis comes along just remember to be quiet in the evening as he likes his beauty sleep. Seriously it's a great weekend, hence the majority are staying Fri to Mon it's THAT good
  6. I have my caynards and chose to keep the clean look. If you do fit them don't go colour coded. You're more than welcome to borrow mine to test view/fit if you wish?
  7. Good man Dave and good to see THE Rice & Carla too
  8. I can see all the alcoholics have booked 3 nights. Still no further updates from the more recent Zed owners. A real shame as you really are missing out. Colin you may want to add some more links to previous wales meets
  9. I had exactly the same problem running on Eibach's. I would have thought the Zspeed Tarmac supplies would give me the same grief but in the form of metal scraping. I have to say the Zspeed sits tighter to the car and I've not scraped once It also looks the muts nuts too! Fitted excellent also to my Nismo V2 so it's a win in every direction. The only downside in comparison to the oem plastic is the price. But then the benefits out weigh negatives.
  10. Top work fella was the pub closed, or did you get kicked out Great responses 23. I've got a heavy right foot, why does the traction light keep kicking in? Because your putting nearly 300bph through the rear wheels - you wouldn't just frantically tug your thing off would you? Caress and be gentle. 40. Anyone seen this on ebay? Yes Coldel has 56. Has anyone heard of Spunk Tyres? They're a new Uzbekistan up and coming brand I'm thinking of getting some part worns for £35. What would you be if you wore an Armani Suit and bright yellow plastic sandals? Thats right - you'd look a ***** (***** got me proper laughing out loud) Good work Ricey - don't forget to finish the others and this thread MUST become sticky!!!!!
  11. Boot Spare wheel Tools Toneua cover Boot plastics Passenger cubby plastics Oem strut for aftermarket Cats - replaced with de-cats Y-pipe - lighter using motordyne Oem wheel nuts for duraluminum, saved 1kg alone with wheel nuts Braided brake hoses - the oem lines and bracket lost me over 1kg This was using a list of weights on my350z, some chap weighed pretty much every removable part including the steering wheel etc. I reckon with what you strip and replace ie roll cage etc you should be looking at well over 100kg for sure
  12. Not sure if anyone watched the Gadget show when they tested two cables, from both ends of the price spectrum, they both turned out even in the tests. Something I already knew but the consumer can be easily foxed into sales banter and spend a fortune on a cable which is over priced. It would be great to see your car back on the forum and on the meets.
  13. Happy Birthday to all and Stew have a good one
  14. I'd hazard a guess that if the engine was warm/hot and the solenoids themselves are warm you just won't get the most effective shot, I wouldn't say it's not going to work, it will just lack a hard shot. I guess Dan will spot that on the dyno and adjust if needed. So how much longer will your car be on holiday.
  15. Hey Clarkie how ya doin? I was thinking just the other day what happened to your old Zed as it's never appeared on here? (or are you secretly modding )
  16. I sent a PM to someone and my message is stuck in the outbox?
  17. By what Wizards said to me was, the solenoids need to be in the coolest area of the engine bay, heat will reduce the effect of the gas, releasing the oxygen earlier before it reaches the cylinders. It will as far as I can gather will be a little like a reduced bottle pressure. As I say this was Wizards words quite some time ago when I went up there with my install. Fair cop though with the jet placement, good idea. Yeah Dan was telling me his working history, rather impressive.
  18. If I recall there was once maybe twice..... Can you fit a tow bar to a 350z?
  19. Looking good Neil, bet your enjoying the trip down south to see your girl. Next time your in the area let me know and pop in Just a quick question are those your solenoids in the engine bay? And that is a very odd insertion point for the jets?
  20. I couldn't take to the Meguiars claybar, found it failed to perform as well as the Autoglym clay. Regarding process after claybar, you can leave the car for waxing as you've used a detailing lubrication. Although I have on the odd occasion given it a once over with the snowfoam before waxing. As long as you've cleared the bodywork of all lubrication residue you'll be fine.
  21. I had my springs compressed to remove but a large number of people have said you don't need to compress the spring, check with someone like Jez or Abbey etc
