I did 5 resorts in Colorado years ago, great mountains and superb snow, but Après ski is a tad boring and the price of equipment to purchase is a joke. As well as paying £45 a day for a lift pass made for expensive skiing. Never done Mayrhoffen, but heard its pretty good Chamomix and Val Thorens are extremly good oh and stupidly expensive

Ligaments are bad news with skiing, could take a very long time to repair. Haha stayed in a few B&B's in Soll when I used to meet up with the reps on my own heck they were the good old days. Lift pass cheap it used to be £100 not that very long ago, but since they've spent a fortune with new lifts they've had to put the prices up. Soll is my all time favourite, been going there on and off 22 years. Love the place. Been watching skiwelt.at and the claim of 2.7mtr's of snow although their top reading is actually in a ditch near the lift at Rigi. So they're slightly cheating. Can't watch the vid for some reason on my iPhone but will pilut the laptop on later. Where did you stay?

Evening Depends on duration, but to be fair the ring is accessible in 4-5 hours traffic dependant. So unless you fancy a few more extra miles I can't really recommend any locations. The place Bennett stays at the Ring is a well sorted place and very popular. I'm hoping to setup a trip in August, which was suggested by Mega, which is to do a huge drive over to the Transfagarason Highway in Romania. The good thing is I can stop off at my dads place in Hungary on the way back. Just one tip, the price of super unleaded is around 1.76 euro a litre so factor those prices into your budget

How about, could you get something fabricated? With my V2 front bumper I can't fit a traditional carbon slam panel, but don't want the metal versions because they don't have the air deflector for the air intake. But if the metal ones came with a deflector I'd be interested, and maybe have them painted/coated in a choice of colours?

NASCAR was epic, really does make a boring sport far more exciting. I thought the spectator rides were great, allowing you the chance to hurtle round whilst in the thick of other cars going round. Then when Hammond was going round the coach drives up ya chuff to intimidate you. Pretty smart. Agreed we could be driving around in Chinese cars soon. I was shocked at the speed of their growth of road network and cars on the road. Great series so far.
