  1. As above need a brand new spacer with all bolts and plastic spacers and washers on a loan basis. The spacer will not be fitted, tampered with or returned anything but it's original condition. I will need to remove the necessary parts from their packaging and that's it. In return I shall provide drink tokens and cover postal costs to and from originating postal address. Anyone? Thanks Ian
  2. Find somebody with a DA and Ultimate Compound. Job will take 5 mins per light MAX.
  3. Funny enough I'm at work at long last so polishing in the evenings now.
  4. I bet you still have one of those new fangled VHS recorders My VHS recorder died a fair few years ago and moved onto DVD. But now I use this thing called Sky+ it's great you can record things really easily now
  5. Personaly I like the way the forum is set out. Why change something that isn't broken? Okay we're having minor glitches now and again, but does the front end visuals really matter. I've seen a lot worse on the net and I think the functionality and visuals are fine.
  6. Example: I post my text. Receive error 408 after 60sec delay. Press back to retrieve my text as I have been informed the server did not respond. So I post again in the hope the server responds. Error 408 again. Repost Error 408. Give up and presume my post has not been accepted to find its been received multiple times. So if I receive error 408 the post has been received yet being informed otherwise??
  7. I don't actually want to post with the fear of repeating myself
  8. The forum is broken it kept saying error server times out???????? Hence multiple posts, mods please delete as required!
  9. Cool interesting facts. The local Beemer you mention, it wasn't stripped out with roll cage was it? If so its probably the one I saw last year. It looks a wreck but made for all out speed, and probably doesn't care if he bins it

  14. Brilliant, I always wondered what they were Is that not to do with GPS? (not the dots Zug's)
  15. I'm sure we can shine enough car headlights to light Wembley
  16. Lift her 4mm (as I did) get yourself a Zspeed job done. I lost my undertray for exactly the same reason and the ride height was to blame. You'll only scrape through the next oem plastic so time to purchase a Zspeed
  17. Been a bit quiet this weekend at the Zed shed? I know Bob's been with us this weekend but does that really mean the Zed shed comes to a standstill?
  18. Nice write up, cheers I'll take a look at what I have stored in addition like the idea of the sig change. Great responses so far again a super helpful forum not just about cars
  19. Cheers Adrian, but when you said here's a video, didn't you mean here's a heap of videos I'll have to look at those tomo evening as I'll be setting off in a bit for the midlands meet. Thanks really appreciated
  20. Well I don't want to expose my initial source of business that I intend to capture, due to being an open forum. But basically I will discuss my services with said potential contract, exampling the brochure to back up my pitch. From there I would take the brochure back with me. I've not intended to leave the brochure at such MOT stations etc. So really it's the evidence of work, bit like a CV. I like the idea of an explanation, and maybe I could leave a soft back brochure which would cost less and potentially leave those at site for passing trade with the explanation of what detailing is all about. It's on my website so technically simple as pasting it in the brochure. Keep the ideas coming though as if their not perfect I can add elements to maybe another idea.
  21. Cheers Zug's I'll have a look at that. I have Webmaster and places setup.and of course the plugin. My search criteria I'd like improving is Detailing Valet Etc etc for West Mids and Birmingham. Well those for starters.
  22. Sorry Will I've already deposited this morning and it would have been a good one to send too. Last. iChat's meal wasn't the greatest (went out for dinner) it was pine nut penne with fresh chillies thrown in. If they are prepared to pay for the wheel, get on the web find some nice new wheels, put them on, throw the wheels you have on at each of the salesmen and work staff get the cash for the wheels. THEN get somebody to proffesionaly detail your car I can do you a nice juicy receipt, get the cash for that, pay me and pocket the rest as compensation. The roof go to Nissan HQ park outside and demand a resolution. I can't believe their lack of respect for your car. But like I said on the phone, Nissan Worcester don't care for their 'new' cars. The swirl marks on a brand new 370 were horrific. We couldn't bare looking at the condition of their other vehicles. Keep us posted with your attendance today and REALLY feel for you mate.
  23. No way Jose I'm ok with computers, but limited once there's a language to learn with computers.
  24. Glad you can see the difference Mike - just tried to work out what is different - just shows I have no design skill I'm really liking number 1. It just looks cleaner but still keeping a modern feel. Let me know what the font is, and I'll see if I can have a play on Sunday. Although I'm sure I've got something on Sunday but totally forgotten
  25. Right boys and girls of the IT, Website world!! I'm looking for someone to help me push my site up the ranks with Google. I've done my best with hosting, creating, building, designing, adding bits etc. But now I'm at the end of my ability in terms of getting my site indexed on showing at least on the first page. Now from the responses of my "Thank you" thread, it appears we've got some very helpful people out there. So...... Who's prepared to help me fix my site. In return a full 1 day detail will be provided free in return, using only the finest products. Thanks Ian
