    VQ35HR - mods

Braided lines are pocket money in comparison to the rest of your mods. I'd invest in those along with Motul RBF 600 or 660. I cooked my brakes on the Nurburgring due to having insufficient oem brake lines and fluid.
  2. This would be one reason why I'd choose an original. Apologies for going soooo far
  3. The 19's came out April this year. http://www.wedssport.jp/products/sa60m.html They're not the best offset but with spacers should be fine. Already received a quote of $2,400 for them from RavSpec in America, but then there's shipping and customs on top
  4. Pistons moved freely without any resistance with the cap still on Something doesn't seem right there, how the hell there wasn't any resistance is crazy. Try the suggestion made by Ebized and see if that fixes the problem otherwise like you say it's a visit to a garage. Not sure in Sunderland who would be best, hopefully somebody will suggest a reputable place Good luck I feel for you in this one, highly annoying!
  5. They are indeed those...I was going to be perfectly happy with a set of Rays and considered swapping them off - but these have swayed me - particularly the attention that they get. Cheers Wasso - I have plenty of lube on its way, the postman is going to give it to me so that I stay moist. Posty was the one who gave me my rim wax last week I didn't know SMD was now working as a postman? Thing is, do I go for a SA55 copy, or spend around £2,000 getting original SA-60m from America? Hmmm
  6. And so the detailing begins The clay will fix the rough paint texture, just take your time and lube up! Are the rims Weds or copies? They look good.... They were one of my original choices Good work
  7. I was going to say the same, there'd be no way of getting new pads in if the pistons are engaged without removing the reservoir cap. OP how did you get the pads in, with force? Did you try and move the pistons out to get the pads in? Where are you based? Maybe another member locally could pop along to help? I'd be happy to if local?
  8. Sikky do a kit which I keep looking at and then trying to forget - a mate of mine has a supercharged LS2 in a 200SX and it makes a GTR feel like a milk float. An N/A LS would really suit the Zed IMO, its very tempting......... Did Jez @ Horsham do the work on your mates 200, as I think he mentioned this when chatting to him, unless there's more than one running an LS2. Agreed the Sikky kit looks good and another supplier I have found in America also provides a similar kit.
  9. Didnt need a licence, nothing was timed it was just an open day for members to have fun. Was talking to one of the committee about potentially hiring the place out for our club if there was interest but not sure on costs. And im sure the hairpin wouldnt be a good idea for some of the lowered cars Good idea Will, get planning
  10. Same issue in Hungary, a second hand car will fetch a considerably higher amount of cash than in the UK.
  11. He does along with a few other companies in the UK. I'm going to arrange a meetup with Wolf's when I go to Hungary and see all their products, do some testing and maybe bring back a few bits
  12. I'll be taking ownership soon of some panels for R&D so I'll have free reign to play at my hearts content. I'll be looking at various ways of repairing damage from bird poo upto heat damage etc. Using various products to see what works and what doesn't. So I can have a bash with this stuff too. Checking for durability, ease of use and so on......
  13. Any excuse to practice for Wales Although you need to have a word with them about the length, needs to be about 70 mile longer
  14. Might have to go pay them a visit, as I'll be in Hungary the 1st August. Parents moved over there 8 years ago to retire. Prices will be cheaper to the Hungarians too
  15. Looks like I'll be selling my Zed in Canada then. I'll be honest and looked at the 370 prices over ther, they're about the same as over here. Havent got a clue why?
  16. Not sure, I'd check with our resident expert.
  17. That'll be fine then, looks deeper in the pic. I'd get back on the DS2500 again, I run them on the DBA with no problems. Must have been a funny batch?

    How low can you go?

I have the same problem getting on my drive, one angle and one angle ONLY! I used to have a 1 in 10 chance of getting on the drive, through practice I've now got that the other way round. But still I leave my drive doing less speed than a slug!!
  19. My rear performance friction have about 1mm of lip. I'd potentially have the rears skimmed to remove the lips because, when you fit a larger pad it'll ride on the lips and you'll have minimal braking on the rear.
  20. Looks like they're a narrower pad?
  21. V8 and comes out various American and Australian and now UK with the VXR8. It once started as a LS1 and has grown to LS8 I believe. The Corvette is one that you recognise and a nice tasty 6.2 from the Pontiac GTO, which is basically the Monaro or VXR8. Out the box 400bhp+
  22. He's luring you into a false sense of safety, next time, well, I've heard the stories so just strap up tight!
  23. Aye there captain Found some good info today.
