  1. The best I've ever achieved was..... That was following Chris'I back from the lake district to Birmingham. Managed to do it on quarter of a tank.

    MREV2???

I'd go Cosworth, good reviews in the US when boosted. Alex has one for sale, although its been there a while so may have sold?

    MREV2???

    Here you go http://my350z.com/forum/engine-drivetra ... ng-32.html

    MREV2???

Here's a pic of the pre-revup plenum and revup plenum. Shaving the pre-revup snouts basicaly turns it into a MREV2 and that's the only difference. For the cost against gains for the pre-revup I'd say it's not worth it. But being boosted it maybe beneficial. Best thing to do is get yourself a pre-revup lower collector (save using your own) and I'm sure there's a guide on my350 with how to shave the snouts, which will also tell you how much to take off. On the revup engine, the plenum spacer basically does sod all, but match it with the MREV2 and you get very good gains.
  5. Should be getting my red calipers fitted next week

    MREV2???

The MREV 2 doesn't provide the pre-revup with any gains as far as I'm aware. The MREV2 was specifically designed for the revup. The difference is all to do with the snouts as I call them. On the revup they are longer. The MREV2 is basically a pre-revup (short snouts) but with the front two snouts shaved on the top.
  7. Paul I feel for you mate, you're not getting the best of luck with that merc, and it's even got four pages all to itself so far. I'd burn it and claim the insurance, not that I'd do that of course

    Photoshop help #2

^^^^ Artist!! I'm impressed, maybe you should have a go at that spoiler Dave promised to do. A week ago
  9. I wouldn't have a clue to be fair. You'd do best picking up a set of used shocks on the forum and getting them fitted. Funny enough I have a full set of oem shocks and springs including Eibach Pro springs still fitted to my old shocks.
  10. I think 20-30 is fine, but if lower it normally indicates a little low on oil. It's how I monitor my oil levels if not checked for a while.
  11. Clay will take a lot of time, but it's always worth starting with the easiest option. Ken has hit the nail on the head, and so it'll come off with some patience. Lube up well and get to work You never know the SRP may break through the paint, especially of its fresh. If not the clay will work just fine.
  12. Super Resin Polish or Clay for starters, see how you get on. If you haven't got any I've got a sample pot which will suffice if you want me to send it up?
  13. I've got some software I can send to you. PM Sent.
  14. All I can say repeatedly is WOW!
  15. Ha ha that 34 is always trying to get in front of me at the supermarket
  16. Ouch! I'll be heading back on the 27th. Make them 19 and I'll be there

    Evo 8 Brembos

Front Brembo are 324mm Front non Brembo are 296mm So, fitting UK Brembo rotors and calipers will gain you better braking than the EVO calipers.
  18. Now I have to say they look and I'd be REALLY interested... But they're 18" (see what I done there ) No seriously I like those, but need 19. I'd even come over and have a look at them as I'll be in the south next week.
  19. If you can achieve over 155mph then it's been uprev'd There's no other way of telling AFAIK

    Evo 8 Brembos

Then you'll need to run Evo pads which could be smaller on Zed rotors. Bad mix in my eyes.

    Evo 8 Brembos

My thoughts precisely. (took me about 15 mins to get that info though )
  22. Very well said. I was just saying you make it look easy

The difference between the Brembo callipers on a Evo 8 and Zed are below. Piston size Evo 8 - 40mm Zed - 44mm Hope that helps
