  1. I thought I'd lost the plot. Searched, and again, and again. Thanks Colin. Awaits ribbing from the entire universe

    Opinion's Please

Nice work, glad you didn't let us put you off! Pics pls! Please don't say you want to see more pics of them Good on ya for being different, they 'may' look better fitted.
  6. The bumper I purchased from an ex trader Chilli Red, the diffuser from a member Docwra, but if you want a copy version them speak with RT performance (trader on here). If you want the original expect to pay just shy of £1,000. Not sure about a swap - but I see a deal in the making PM you later I thought that would be a deal clincher. Would still like to see the fit and look first though of course. I'd also need to source a boot too, it maybe too much hassle swapping yours out? But if you pop that wing on the carbon boot it would sit nice and flush but may need some sort of strengthening? I'm looking to come down the first week of October on another South East tour.
  7. I'll be going back to a standard boot, so the restoration to Carbon will only be "For Sale" purposes. More than welcome for first dibs - I guess you'll want it as it is, save me trying to restore it? Swap for some rims?
  8. I'm sure a REAL lid will be needed but it'll be a laugh, I'll say it was accepted at the Ring, why not here?
  9. A project of mine will be to restore the carbon, by removing the paint as I'll be going back to an oem boot next year. It'll be a slow and very careful job with the finest wet and dry. It's achievable, the guys in the US have done it before, it just takes a LOT of patience.
  10. I've got a plastic one of those but not metal, so will have to head to a kitchen store thingy and get one. I'm not joking either, it'll be the dogs danglies!!
  11. You can get one of these to attach to your phone, then plug into the Aux IN of your HU. Don't quote me on this, as it all depends on the connections available on the back of your HU. But couldn't see why not. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.vi ... ID=EBAY-GB Passing cables from behind the HU to the tunnel and outside is no problem. My iPhone connector is accessible in the passenger footwell dropped between the tunnel plastics etc
  12. Get your act together TOO FAR I'm travelling from Birmingham Brillo is hitchin a lift Hayden from Surbiton (I think) Graham from Dorking Chris from Dorset Etc.... Just not dedicated
  13. I'll be up for a laff, so I'll source a special lid
  14. Tough, it's going on. There's not exactly loads to dislike the spoiler as its basically the OEM on steroids. I've always thought the rear needed a spoiler but never wanted to drill into the carbon. At least if I don't feel it works I can detach it and sell onward.
  15. Okay, latest update.  Gaskets have been quoted and can be produced.  The spacer feet are still awaiting quotation along with the strut feet.  The Alu samples are as we speak being anodised.   Now in terms of timescales I have the following.  Alu spacer – 10 days Gaskets – 21 days  So I’m hoping that I can collate all quotations and work out the best price achievable, which will be....  A: Cheaper than other suppliers B: The same quality as other suppliers (if not better believe it or not) C: Better looking  I’m hoping by the end of the this week that I can provide all the necessary timescales, pricing and delivery. If anyone else is interested please let me know
  16. Is a lid required, I know it's common sense but means I need to source one if so.
  17. Bump indeed - I'm not sure I'm even booked a place yet. Neither have I
  18. I always wondered why my car has a skirt
  19. Votes are in counted and verified and with a clear winner, it's the spoiler Thank you all for voting, those who voted for, can say, I helped make that decision on Wasso's car. Marco my serious and honest opinion was either really. The photoshop I'd done verified that I liked it, but wanted to see what the "people" say. I really was 50/50 with this and didn't mind which ever way it went. Maybe Steve will pop me down as the 100th customer.
  20. I tried I really wanted to see if it worked with the Tommy K etc. Interesting Poll though.
  21. Well it's at 46 with a +6 majority to do it, even if the last 4 vote no then it'll be 24 v 26 in favour. Looks like Wasso's rear end is getting vajazzled. PMSL
  22. Cheers Marco Maybe I should get half a spoiler, them the ones who like it can stand one side and the ones who don't stand the other side. 4 to go, looks like its with.... Just want to see how close it gets if at all on the 50. Thanks for voting so far and all the nice comments, that counts a lot to me.
  23. It's the Blitz, main benefit for me is it's a stick on jobbie, no need to drill into the carbon.
