  1. Ha ha no worries matey, just don't use them when there's no snow or they will break down faster than you can say "wheel spin"
  2. All paid spacers are being collected from me on Wednesday for arrival Thursday.
  3. That's why I'm working from home today. I've never seen so much snow on my car and the mounds of snow around my car makes me feel like I'm in Austria or something?
  4. I also did Darren's pipes I mean intake pipes. (Where his hands are in the bay) All parts that are removable are done by a bench polisher with 3 varying levels of cut and associated compounds.
  5. You would need to take the engine out to get the front timing cover off, but as said polished in the bay is the only other way. What makes it a ballache is the fact you've got to lean over the bumper which can cause quite a few aches and pains. Anything that can be removed you get a far better finish, example below. But in place I'll use a mix of dremmel and drill with varying mops and compounds. So from Atkins efforts I'd say pretty good, its just so time consuming, messy, and full of aches and pains.
  6. Good idea especially for those who not that often me though
  7. I never search lol..... Thing is I normally capture all that's been said, but clearly the previous headings didn't catch my eye.

    End caps

I have a plastic end cap but not of that size for the tube you're referring to. The washer jet pipe, fold the end in half, slide into jubilee clip and tighten. Ring me anytime today (I'm polishing) but ring me
  9. B0llocks! Maybe it's my age then? But at least I hadn't posted in one of those threads or that would have meant my memory is on its way out. I am actually polishing today, so maybe the results will be published tonight.
  10. Really, I'm sure there's been similar but not the same vid...... Really?
  11. Erm yeah this is cool..... Epic!!
  12. I'm surprised you're without a women with a story like that..... Shades of grey comes to mind. Congrats on the year, I'm heading towards 4 now.
  13. I paid £50 for my snow socks simples BUT Winter tyres are RIGHT thing to do. Ice, a little snow, a lot of snow, you're ready. You can't moan at that.
  14. Weapon R do a burnt titanium one, and I think that's your lot. I could probably fabricate one up for you, whilst I'm working on the Vortech intake.
  15. Have a look in the FS section, someone was selling some last week +1
  16. I may add we've had near on 10" here today and still snowing. Ha ha Auto socks!
  17. They saved me from being stuck at the bottom of a hill. I'd already suffered a pretty bad hill, to the point it took me 20 mins to negotiate. No matter how much I tried, pulling off in 1st 2nd 3rd it was a nightmare. The socks made a huge difference. Hitting the hill with confidence and not the slightest slip. Vans, BMW's, Merc's and even 4x4's were having big problems. I just drove on by.
  18. PMSL Nice one Dave. 4 hours to get home. I hate England because our councils can't manage the roads. Didn't see one gritter or plough!! I shall be writing to my MP to tell him and his friends are ALL w@ankers!
  19. It got that bad the big guns had to come out!! I have one feeling against all other motorists watch me climb hills overtaking everything ha ha ha Me is now SMUG!!
  20. Well I've been stuck on this one road now for 40mins and we're not moving!! Might put my snow socks on whilst I'm waiting So far journey time 2 hours and a few bum clenching moments on the M42. And I've not seen one gritter no wonder Emgland grinds to a halt. No wonder I hate this country. Bet Jim in Canada is doing just fine.
