  1. The old forum would have functionality in which to sticky posts driven by REO's. The new forum I can't seen an option, does this mean it's a Mod function only, as I want to un-sticky and sticky posts which reside within the Midlands area. Thanks
  2. At least someone is doing some constructive work on the for sale threads.
  3. Happy Birthday DAZ450! A wonder horse of the forum community í ½í± Have a cool day (probably at work as usual) so I'm sure you've been celebrating the weeken just gone and to come. All the best and hope to see you soon. Jayne also wishes you a Happy Birthday. :band:
  4. Thanks Mr G, I can be helpful sometimes. It would answer why it happens on every Zed and not just one particular colour?
  5. Okay I had exactly the same issue up until I had my car sprayed. Since the paintwork over the rear arch was done I no longer see a difference between the arch and flap. From this I summize, the car whilst originally being painted does not include the filler cap. The cap I presume is done elsewhere within Nissan, maybe a different booth, different layers of paint I don't know. All I can say is my car no longer contains this problem, so its got to do with Nissan not spraying the entire car with the cap on. If you think about it, the cap wouldn't be installed when being originally sprayed and only installed later in the process. Well that's what I think anyway and would seem to add up.

    New Tomei Exhaust

Sounds superb, but as Chris said single pipes don't really get sold here. It would also look daft on a chargespeed which is a damn shame.
  7. Sorry Dave I was busy I wasn't going to mention it was you.... you can catch anyone on a bad day but the fact that you still do it to me hurts
  8. I also had this on, didn't pay much attention at first, but then turned the sound up and was highly engrossed. I was quite impressed even though I didn't understand some of it, but thought of a whockoff diamond in space at like billions of Carats was quite cool. Had to laugh at Jonathan Ross, he was well out of his comfort zone
  9. Happy Birthday Poker Man.....
  10. Brilliant 10/10 for the entire trip. Loving te LFA satnav, you would have just so much fun with that. The drag strip I found rather comical, but the fixed 55mph was a damn good idea! Loved it...... And for those who didn't love it well Top Gear is just not for you.
  11. Happy Borthday Lexx, have a good'un
  12. Ha ha, yeah the Ring was epic. If you've played Gran Tourismo you'll have an understanding of its complexity, but physically the ring in the Zed is next level. I've done 4 laps and my shameful best lap was 10min 20sec, but them that was my first and only ever track time since owning the Zed. I actually cooked my brakes half way round, but only from being a noob. It's for sure a place that's earnt a tick in the box.
  13. Agreed but you'll need to seal them to avoid oxidisation.
  14. The quote of Oxidised Cast Auminium was from the Brembo site. It'll be the casting if anything that would potentially be the issue, again I'm speculating. We'll soon find out when I do a plenum!
  15. Maybe Chros should have the honor of the 1,000,000th post, save you lost posting complete twoddle
  16. I would hazard a guess that some forms of Alu don't anodise very well, as a current needs to pass through. I would guess that being dense in size they may not anodise as well? I'm going to test a plenum which is cast aluminium, which maybe about 3-4 weeks away but I could report back. They would need to be polished first prior to anodising.
  17. They are made from Oxidised Cast Aluminium. I am currently going through tests for anodising cast aluminium so I'll report back as I would presume the same results.
  18. Ok from stage one of polishing my calipers I found their weight and results after polishing to lead me towards them not being aluminium. I could be wrong, and I'll see if I can find out.
  19. Received a Royal Mail must sign for package so I'll collect on Sat morning
  20. Sounds like the ribbon is either faulty or not plugged into the back of the dash/dial controls. If its unplugged it'll blow continuously until you plug it in.
  21. Cool we're good to go. Once I receive smudge's spacer back (hopefully at home now) I'll be down the Anodisers probably Monday morning.
  22. Ha ha wicked, I was only thinking the other day that nobody had replied. Mine was the Azure and Bennett in the Kuro was just heading back from the south east Grasshoper meet. Bet you thought it was a bit rare seeing two Zeds together
