  1. You'll be fine, once it's taped both sides it will give it some nice protection. Don't drop the TB for god sake!
  2. Recommended yes, but I never have. Disconnect the TB via the plug. Just go careful with the TB butterfly. Extreme care is required not to move the butterfly as it's electronically set. It would be safe to undertake the TB reset procedure once you've done what you need, if in doubt of moving the butterfly. http://my350z.com/forum/maintenance-and-repair/371324-how-do-i-do-the-throttle-body-relearn-procedure.html
  3. 4 Allen bolts hold the TB in place. There's an electrical plug to the right hand side, of the TB which must be removed. That's it really.
  4. Also you'll have hoses attached to the plenum. If I recall. One to the left, easy to spot Behind the Throttle Body Then a final one underneath the Throttle Body, which points towards the air intake tube The last in that list is the hardest to reach under and remove.
  5. There are 18 bolts in all. 11 around the perimeter of the plenum. If you've only found 10, then there's your answer. Don't forget number 9, whilst not obvious can be missed. Also number 8, you need to reach right over the plenum.
  6. Elliot, I may be able to help you out, I've got one spacer that hasn't got a gasket on, which is blue, could have this re-anodised in black if needed. I'll sit down and work the current orders out tonight and let you know.
  7. Oh Bollox, miss-read that. Oh man, ok I'd kill myself instead then, whilst in the room with all the other annoying celebs!! Ok, annoying..... Ronnie Wood, but at least I could give his ex, and her sister a shout to meet up
  8. Theres a few, and a bit of a trend, sorry.... Rylan Clark goby fecker, most annoying person on TV. There's a load more like that Gok the c*ck as I like to call him.
  9. To be honest I don't really watch golf on TV, I just don't get time. Although, I would love to have a game with Nick Faldo at St Andrews. There's no tree's so that's half my battle won
  10. How long is a piece of string, and what other events will unfold between now and completion All I know is that we are getting the ball rolling again in two weeks. If we can complete by the end of summer I'll be happy. If not, then there's no great issue. May was the last time we worked on her, so there's a lot to catch up on. I'm hoping that now Chris has improved facilities workflow will be easier that's for sure.
  11. That to be fair is a bloody good answer. Still we are not all blessed with this psychic power. So indicate god damn!
  12. Well this is a very sad time, I'm now down to my last 6 spacers - Orange, Red and Blue remain. There will be no further stock replenishment once they're gone.
  13. Do you wave to other BMW drivers now that you've gone to the "I can't drive, but I think I'm a driving god in my BMW" side....... sorry matey. If you had a £30k for your "track" budget, what car would you get and why...... (not including serviceable parts etc)
  14. Hoooorah, at long bloody last. I've packed my bag for a 3 month stay See you soon Mr K Have to say Zed Zshed 2 looks better than most garages...... Not sure the white will stay white for long lol. You've done a cracking job!!
  15. Congrats Pete, 9 years was my longest with my Focus, cost me hardly anything in 9 years. What did you buy your Zed as a treat?
  16. Strange one, but I'll be getting my BPA licence this year (British Pyrotechnics Association). I've always been a pyromaniac from a young age. Was given the opportunity and I'm grabbing it with both hands. Not a career change but gives me the opportunity to blow things up!!
  17. Wasso

    370 into 350

If I recall the width of the 50 differs from the 70, so you've got your work cut out there for sure!
  18. Fixed that for you Thanks matey, that's really helpful Fixed it back!
  19. I've provided 5/16 strut spacers for those with a Kinetix with no reported problems.
