  1. Happy Birthday Chris, hope you have a great day And happy birthday to Dave where ever you are
  2. I did wonder how it had taken so long for somebody to mention the time.
  3. Okay reality check. Wales happens once a year. Work happens every day (apart from weekends for some). Football will be a dissapointment, a fight, some TV bull$hit and some over paid sportsmen. Wales = Fun, laughter, cars, women (ok I made that one up). There's no way you're missing this one, and I hope you've lifted the car at least 10mm otherwise you'll be running out of front lip soon. Edit - forgot to add maybe a beer or two?
  4. But there's no comparison Football or Wales..... Let me think on that...... Friggin Wales ALL THE WAY!!! Can't flippin wait...... 'Party on dude'
  5. Go careful with anything mechanical on the actual strut. It'll only make life harder when you come to bringing up the shine. Prep is the keyword. Smooth clean and without any previous grit marks. Yes the feet are a cowbag but practice makes perfect. Spraying is also a pain - but it's a cheap enough mod to do without huge expense.
  6. Yes flap wheels I find best along with a bit of manual rubbing etc. You won't get ALL of the paint off, but enough to give the primer a good base. I'll be honest about the strut, but couldn't tell you which way is correct. I use compression to push at the mounts. I ensure there's enough tension but not too much in which to strain the bolts when the car is under heavy load.
  7. Says who? My ban hammer says we get Chris and Bob If we'd had more time we could have had a war at Wales I don't think we'd get our robots in the Zeds unless we ditched our +1's You can't just demand the ownership of Chris and Bob, they're human and may want a choice
  8. The 350z-uk mod/admin team have reserved a slot for Chris already You're forgetting Bob, they come as a pair. Forum Mods and Admin are not allowed to snap up members, traders or REO's. I think we should seriously contend getting us 'Modders' to get creative!
  9. Oh c'mon Someone's head is in the gutter this afternoon.
  10. I use a mix of drill related tools and mini flap wheels to remove the paint. You could use a stripper but not sure how well it will pass through the wax treatments applied by Nissan. Worth a bash, if not manually by hand or purchase some tools to assist with the work.
  11. I'm truly saddened to hear this Colin, especially as I've met Mark and Amy at pretty much every Wales event since I've owned my Zed. A totally top bloke, who was friendly, chatty and down to earth. He WILL be missed at Wales and from the forum. I personaly wish his family all the strength during this sad time. I know for a fact my other half won't believe me when I tell her, and with Maccaman as well I think we should maybe commemorate or do something for them both at the next Wales meet. R.I.P. Mark. Edit - the time has been posted for the funeral but not a date?
  12. Brilliant!!! I think we should do a forum robot wars, but I have a feeling a certain team might win
  13. TBC at the moment, not had a free weekend yet to do a Recce. I'll try and have a bash this weekend
  14. TY Darren I still have the remote control bits from the robot we entered in "Robot Wars" a few years ago Hmmmmmmmmmmmm Oh my god you entered robot wars. I loved that programme so much. Razor for the win!!
  15. That compressor should have its own build thread. As each visitor comes they must don it with modifications. For instance, paint, spoiler, splitter and so on. Custom made of course but it would be cool
  16. I work for Rentokil (not as a pest employee) and I've seen some of their mastery equipment. I'd recommend their knowhow and expertise to remove said rodents. They will even remove them with painless gas via their new traps which are epic. Call them now! Price haven't got a clue. I had some Wasps and it was like £75. So I guess it depends on the rodent and how many visits are required.
  17. WOWOWOWOWOWOW!! Hold on here lads, don't let your imagination run wild here.
  18. Wow I never realised your car had so many miles on the clock, credit to the car Had to laugh at the beer can, I remember it well.
