Had my Motordyne TDX V2 fitted by Cougar Store. They called me to say it was taking far longer than usual and asked if I was happy to proceed. Despite taking an eternity to fit we agreed a fair mutual price. Issue wasn't made any easier with Japspeed decats which were the major part of the issue! That's how it should be done when issues occur. Rather than being slapped "here's your bill sir, but additionally cleaned your car, fixed a bulb etc" I would contact them to discuss further. If they quoted a price they should stick to it. If not then negotiate a mutually fair price.

I was never inspired by the selection of presenters, although watched the repeat last night. All new TG, erm no, it's TG with really dull presenters, I'm sorry MLB doesn't do it for me and felt like American TG. On all counts it felt dull, cringeworthy and failed to capture my attention. It felt more like a broken TG with some stand in presenters whilst the others are on holiday. The whole "what was your first car" section put me right off, screaming out like a child to the audience. Chris Evans will ruin what the BBC hoped would be a clean slate. I couldn't be bothered to sit down Sundaynght to watch it and wished I hadn't wasted 50 mins (missed the beginning of the repeat) of my life. This is not Top Gear, sorry BBC I'll be doing more interesting things on a Sunday evening, maybe I'll sweep the path at 8pm on a Sunday night.

Have you watched the price of the Saggy recently? New price back in the day £55k Used price 1 year ago £45k Now £65k used. Something tells me the Saggy makes you money! At the time I used to live in London, frequenting clubs such as The End, Turnmills, The Arches, The Paradise Club, and ultimately a club in Wandsworth known for it's narcotic raid many years ago called Club UK. Subsequently raided with such enthusiasm the club then closed, whereby the organisers moved to the Paradise Club, at the time known as The Complex. The club experienced several police raids. The first one was in December 1994 on a Friday night. In October 1995, 150 police raided the club on a Saturday. Operation Blade involved dogs, horses, and the Territorial Support Group. 800 clubbers were turned out on to the streets, and many searched. 10 people were arrested. The police raid on Club UK was carried out with TV cameras in attendance, correctly described by the clubowners as a 'media circus'. It seems the raid was deliberately timed to provide a story on which to hang the launch two days later of a new anti-drugs campaign called SNAP (Say no and phone). Ironically the police launched this campaign at Club UK's South London rival, The Ministry of Sound, a place where drug use was just as widespread. With clubs at that time closing down left right and centre, we ventured to other areas, Lakota - Bristol, Cream (Bugged Out) - Liverpool, Que Club (Atomic Jam) Birmingham, Wobbles - Digbeth (Birmingham), Orbit - Leeds. Then came clubbing abroad, Amsterdam - Gaswork Fabrique, Dance Valley - Annual Festival, Queens Day (30th Apr). Then onto Spain, for Sonar. Belgium for I Love Techno, and finally spending a lot of time annually in Ibiza. When touring Europe we resided in Ibiza for 2 months, that was a very messy experience. Amnesia, Space, DC10 were frequented at least 3 times a week. Oh the days of clubbing...... great times! I suppose you could in a way. Techno, like House, like Drumb and Bass are the roots of their genre, they have all expanded over the years. Showing my age properly here but Drum and Bass was originally called "Jungle Techno", it only became D+B in the mid 90's. Real roots are Peril, Goa Trance, Chicago House and Detroit Techno, pretty much all EDM came from one of these badboys Actually that rings bells now, Jungle Techno, which is why the Que club in Birmingham would offer D&B and Techno on their Atomic Jam nights. No, Techno, all of the above are other genres. Sven Vath (God of techno) all rounder Richie Hawtin - Electronic Guru also plays a large amount of minimal or abstract Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, hard and fast Laurent Garnier - Mixed, but an arrogant bastard! Marco Carola - Mixed but generally hard Carl Cox - huge all rounder, much loved for his enthusiasm and personality LEGEND! There's plenty more but each to their own style.

When in June..... I could do with one last event (age concern ) Said I would do just one more.... Roof tops seems a little more relaxed than Amnesia! ILT also agree a VERY well organised event, far better than the UK like you say. Back in the day it was like €20 to spend 12hrs dancing your tits off!

I'm jealous, always wanted to hear the roots of techno on German soil. When I travelled Europe for 6 month in 1999 we wanted to visit Tresor in Berlin, man what a club! Deep @*!# I tell you. We also wanted to see another long standing Techno club in Berlin but it had closed down. But still Tresor was a treat and still going to this day. Keep an eye out for "I Love Techno" in Ghent, Belgium. Fantastic event held normally around the end of October, the "best of the best" congregate for 5 arenas of pure heavenly techno. Oh they were the days....

Likewise Bobby, Richie the legend along with Vath, Ben Sims, Marco Carola, Dave Clark, Laurent Garnier, Cox etc etc....... I see Nina was signed to Cocoon a while ago.... Always keep tabs on Cocoon and the Vath Master
