    Wheel wax?

I've not cleaned my rims in over a year. What I mean by that is I spray, leave for five minutes then jet wash off. No wheel sealants or wax needed, I don't need a mitt or even a wheel brush. I swear by the stuff.
  2. I thought the first pic was "mods done" Looks great. A mix of Marzman and Glrnet going on, well the old rear of mr Smurf. Like the rims BTW in that colour
  3. The best part was trying to get 15 Zeds to do a 3 point turn down a single lane track and get out. It was beautifully orchestrated in getting us out, but I Think that's when Colin stepped in It may not have been fun but it was bloody funny.
  4. By hand it will get done but you'll have stumps for fingers and the rest of your life polishing. A mouse sander is only good for the flat areas. You'll never get into the tight. Areas and there's a risk of sanding down the contours too far. Ok here's what you need. A drill Flap wheels 3 sizes from 1/2", 1" and 2". Grit levels needed 120, 240, 360. Wet and dry paper 120, 240, 360, 500 and so on. If you have access to a bench polisher get hold of 2 pop sizes 2" and 6 or 8". In each size you'll need a Sisal, Stitched mop and loose mop. Keep at it and trust me you'll feel defeated for 80% of the process. My first plenum took 30hrs only because I had to learn the process. You'll find out the hard way the issues as you race forward to get it done. I've dealt with a couple of half hearted attempts supplied to me to fix and its all about the prep. If you don't prep the surface correctly you'll rise through grit levels and leave marks in the finish. My plenums leave in top quality mirror finish, if it meets my own standards then I release it. If not I go back a couple of stages with the mops and spend more time getting it perfect. Only another minimum 18.5hrs to go. Maybe this will spur you on a bit...... And here you can see the benefits of using a bench polisher. Which on the left is upto 500 grit and the right side is the full range of mops from cut, cut/finish, finish. Keep at it
  5. Is that a yes or a no? Neither - it's a Ninja It means what you up to??? Friend..... he owns a Jag
  6. Stock as above still available, although two Blue have been reserved.
  7. +1 on that. As well as the polished bits done by me
  8. When I was last in Europe doing 7hr stints I noticed my gearbox tunnel got very warm. I suppose the car is expected to get warm on long journeys.
  9. Nah its very tempting and probably the only SC'd Zed I'd buy off the forum, all the others can't drive, either smashing their cars up or driving over slabs, or stripping them etc. Darren's is the only one worth buying To be fair I'd still get bored I think.....
  10. Damn what kind of offer is needed, maybe the turtle that once was inside that shell? Or maybe cash?
  11. If the car is off the road you'll not need your front calipers. I'll be round tomorrow night to take them off your hands. I have Brembos to trade Sorry to hear yet another bodywork repair on the cards. You don't seem to be having much luck lately. Still the offer is there for the GT's
  12. Jayne is up for renewal so I'll get her to upgrade and I'll have her phone
  13. Good post Ian, and yes glass held high for Sparky
  14. I purchased the Motordyne Spacer yonks ago and its a nice piece, but as I wanted to colour code my engine bay I went into production of my own spacers, which are anodised to your colour preference. Send me a PM if you want further info. There's plenty of people here who've purchased one if you need verification of the quality.
  15. I also Mirror Graham's post, a car that I'd buy that's for sure. Knowing what Darren knows about cars, he's hands on to maintain the car and ensure it's tip top. Even I'm sat here doing the maths...... I shouldn't, but I would for this car. It would be a great shame to strip her, as she's a fantastic example of how a car should be FI'd. No expense spared. (Excuse me whilst I just doing some calculating)
  16. Thanks Sam. Its funny because I've really liked having my Rays Anthrecite, I couldn't of asked for a better look with Rays on. But the time is now to finish the look, and 18's do look a little lost now. The annoying part is just the cost, I'd hate to spend all that dough and not like them. Its not as though you can send them back either. Might have a chat with Cal to see if he could do me a super dooper photoshop.
