  10. We shall have to see if the purchaser delivers the cash. If not then I'm sure I'll make an announcement as soon as I know. It went for £345 which is taking the pee. I did set a reserve on it, but clearly the reserve didn't happen. Not sure if it's because I missed some of the translation, as it was a teaser in the German market to be honest. I was tipped off they will only purchase originals, due to the TUV regulations and the copies from RT aren't permitted. To be fair £800 is very reasonable, when you look at the new purchase costs from America Diffuser $612 Bumper $945 Delivery $300 Total $1,857 Then add VAT @ 20% $2228.40 - converted to sterling and you have £1,392.75 So £800 for used is a fairly good price. £345 on ebay is a joke!!
  11. I didn't fancy silver and polished rims. Also I'd like to keep some of the look I already have with the Anthracite. Pics will follow the week after next whilst they're being fitted and all the geo being corrected at the same time.
  12. It did for a rediculously low price for an original. Kinda gutted really but still cash in the bank to cover some way towards my rims. I saw your bid and thought yourself or Haydn were up for it. So its off to Germany at some point once he's paid!!
  13. Yup that's a Motordyne and yes they degrade and technically fall apart. You need to make sure the gasket surrounding the spacer is intact and will place a good seal otherwise you may as well throw it away. Did you buy this off the forum cos that's on shocking condition. If you fancy replacing that spacer just give me a nod as I supply new and improved spacers to the community. Also anodised to a colour of your choice.
  14. Rain-ex!! You don't need wipers. In fact wipers are old hat to be honest.
  15. One of..... Probably the best. *cough*
  16. The only Aston I like is the Vantage. The rest are old looking and for retired people. Bit like Jaaaaaaaaags.
  17. I wouldn't pay £150 for that fugly mugly pile of doop.
  18. True. We all learn by mistakes and had I just paid a little bit more and got a better service. Although whether their disks are any good is another question. I personally wouldn't touch their workmanship. But if you want a recommendation the DBA's are great.
  19. Congrats matey, wishing you all the best for the future.
  20. Dropped them in this afternoon and £176 all in, including the centre caps. Other quote I received was £296 + vat. Guess that ain't happening. A little note, if anyone drives their local roads just be careful, single track and not signposted so use their guide on the website. Great people and very helpful. As well as a great price. They're also going to ship them out for £36 to the tyre shop. Can't see fairer than that. Thanks for the recommendation.
  21. I'm waving at the fact Godspeed haven't got a clue when it comes to refurbishing calipers or painting them. 3 attempts at getting it right and 3 months. Customer support is crap and their attitude stinks.
