  1. There's also a pressure release valve on good quality bottles to avoid explosion. I had my bottles up to 1,200 psi on a very hot sunny day.
  2. Adrian Flux was the only insurance company that would insure me when I had NOS.

    Intake options

ARC sounds the best out them all, but don't expect pop charger prices. The ARC is encased with the filter inside. Also has an etched polished intake tube. ARC FTW!!
  4. Thanks Jay. Thing is if I do the V8 thing I'll probably never (he says) spend stupid amounts on power, as I'll have scratched the itch. If I ever did a 370 it would have to go through some serious visual changes, and to be fair a lot of UpRev'd 70's have all said that it's better and suitable for their needs. The 50 can be sluggish at times and in today's modern world with diesels with Turbo's we can be made to look a fool. So FI on a 50 is perfect, on a 70, I don't think it's needed to be honest. But still a 70 TT sounds nice Who knows I may even deviate away from the Z scene after the 50. There's a number of cars I'd like to own and drive, such a TVR, RS4/6, Cayman S, or whatever else floats my boat when the time comes.
  5. Okay I had issues with the Eibach and V2 and went over to Coilovers and lifted it some 5mm. You WILL have issues with multi storey car parks, some aggresive speed bumps and some driveways like I had at my old house. That extra 5mm gives me more allowance without compromising the look. You could swap them out for Tein springs which offer around 15-17mm or just fork out and do it nice with Coilovers. The advantage is you can alter the stiffness of the suspension with the coilovers. It can get expensive so make sure you have some cash for suspension. You can live with 30mm but as I say speed bumps and car parks can affect your parking and driving routes. My front was a perfect fit, source unknown.
  6. Thanks matey Well when the V8 goes in she'll be used only as a weekend car. But there will be a time thereafter which she'll go...... Can't keep her forever.... I'd be keen for a new project and with so much cash tied up in her, it would allow me to finance the next project.
  7. I can't I'm afraid, purchased it around 3 years ago. I couldn't even tell you which website I got it from, but it's a standard motorbike size that would appear on the back of a bike. (Legal size for bikes) Your next question will be have I been pulled on this? No, I think because the perception is that it's clear and can still be picked up by camera's which is one of it's main purposes, then it's been accepted. I would say anything smaller and they'd be pulling you on a regular basis.
  8. Do what I did and get a motorbike plate, have it then affixed to a small plate that resides on the V2 with double sided number plate tape. Job done.
  9. Sorry for the late replies forgot to get back to me thread Handles lovely. Lowered, spacered, Bushed, ARB'd up, erm, camber arms the lot. Oh and a copy of Adrian's GEO which I'm yet to fully test on 19's but expecting A1. It was great on the 18's but with a bit more tread beneath I'm hoping for a lot more. Cheers Thanks mate and oh yes I know, tell me about it...... Here's a reminder. Thanks mate, she gets some great comments not just on here. Proud of her and her evolving journey in my posession. I will dread the day she leaves me, there's a huge amount of memories. The forum, the drives, new friends and 2 European trips with the epic one next year of 4,500 miles. She's been a wonderful car. Sorry to say though she's nearing 90k which is 61k in my possession, but hell have I loved every mile, and still to this day.
  10. Fronts are 255/35/20 Rears are 285/30/20 I have had a quote of £1,140 fitted from very nearby Sent from the golf club... Can't beat that price mate, well done. I really don't know how I got all my bits so cheap, must have missed something off.
  11. Christ your arrows are on heat or something..... One would have done
  12. 8 copper washers for the banjo fitted to the calliper. £24 and 4 weeks to deliver. That's just for the washers. So I went to Halfrauds £1.50
  13. You can't afford the oil!! I've already accounted for that. But in anycase the VQ should be gone.
  14. Nice one Sam, they look real nice
  15. Says the man with black wheels in his avatar...... Kettle??? Anyone??? Good numbers Ady, but you've still got that girls gearbox Ian meet sarcasm, sarcasm meet Ian.... not too sure you will get along Sent from the golf club... I can't work you out sometimes...... Cancel that, ALL the time
  16. Could have been worse Graham, could have been a fuel line and 12v??
  17. I'm actually in the process of getting a DLNA amp for my house, so can I plug it in at yours There are benefits as stated above, and gives you options depending on how techy you want your house. I would have thought you'd be able to do a mitt use of things with CAT 5, music, gaming, tv, probably house automation too.
  18. Pass me your tyre sizes and I can get a quote from my local in Chiswick. I paid £1,100 I think including fitting for the 19's. That's MPSS2's. I'm still learning what grip levels I have and so far I keep pushing and nothing is letting go, even the over sensitive TC stays off.
