  1. C6 engine on its way to me........ All for £6k - it makes sense...... why have a plastic car when you can have a zed with the powerplant of a C6
  2. Leon you get first prize which is a week with Bizz to lend a hand
  3. I was going to do this, but it'll be expensive with the connectors.
  4. Pete if I've got Zeditus, does that mean I can be excluded from being on the jury again

    Engine Bay shots

Tired in what way Cal, there's a possibility of a polish and re-fresh for cheap? Post up a detailed pic or PM and I'll work out what's possible.
  6. The one I didn't get picked for was a City fraud trial that lasted 18 months and all found not guilty..!!! Wow, sod that. We were naffed off with it after 4 weeks. Ours (without giving too much information away) was to do with a huge importation of drugs. I'm talking a lot of tonnes, not just a bag here or there. Was very interesting, but was tedious.
  7. I got called up a couple of years ago..... expecting 2 weeks. 4 months later, yes 4 months the trial finished. We were asked if we'd be okay with a trial lasting 4-6 weeks, so we accepted. It was a lie and was always going to end up being a long trial. We were excused of being called for jury service for 2 years.
  8. Since when has it taken you up to 2 years to fit an engine??
  9. It could have been mate prolly just using man maths to justify all the extras Don't worry I do the same when Jayne is around
  10. I'm of the same, but I paid around £300+ because of the Earls hoses that came with it. I'm sure yours was a bit higher Chris, inclusive of customs. I know you sourced the hoses cheaper, but sure it was a bit more than that.
  11. How about this then Will? or Husky's favourite video (sound is a MUST!)
  12. That's just wrong, weird and you need help!
  13. That's given me a right idea! 2 steering wheels! One for the passenger and one for the driver......that way you can take a break from constantly correcting the steering! What if your passenger who is holding the wheel is
  14. It's been a very long while matey, that is true. Stop buying crap cars and join us folk with a Zed again. Erm yeah, decided a built engine, SC or Turbo just didn't float my boat. I want something simple, throw it in, push the go pedal and enjoy. None of this trust the builder, trust the tuner, oh dear there's a heat issue, oh my belt has snapped, got turbo lag crap. It's in the box, you press go, it happens. Okay so putting something like this in a zed, as Bizz has exampled isn't just a straight forward swap, but Bizz luckily turned up at exactly the right moment. I remember talking to Lexx at Lakez two years ago about it all. It just makes sense for me. If it all goes Pete Tong, I'll just buy a Vette C6 shell and put it back where it originated.
  15. ^^^ I wouldn't want to go searching through all those containers, wow that would take some time. Be interesting to see what else is on there though.
  16. Classic Ricey, Hope you get more than £400...... maybe thrown in a hooker, a left hooker it might drive straight then
  17. I know what that piece of metal is for...... it's so that when you're on the track you can turn the traction control ON, you don't want to be slip sliding away on track now. Hold on a mo.... That's the opposite of what's required...... A button will go there, which say's on it..... "Hold on, hold tight, we're going full boost!!" Once pressed all HELL breaks loose!!
  18. I've just googl'd the vessel that's bringing the American Muscle to the UK, I hope my shipment isn't at the top and they encounter strong winds or rough sea's, looks a bit precarious!! Need to sort the logistics of "what happens next" more than happy for people to come over, even if the engine isn't there Status is up and down, so what I'd have given you on Friday changed by Sunday, reverted on Monday, and now in a new position now. I was banking on steady progress, but that's not happening. I'll give you a shout at the weekend as I'm either out or working up till about 11pm UK time. Cheers Wizurd and Lee I can't friggin wait!!!
  19. I'm anticipating total customs to be £1,200 Then £100 delivery when I'm back in the UK. It will be fun and probably some tears and shouting at some point.
  20. Well you could at least pass opinion of your tyre choice
  21. Just received the following mail : (1 Crate – used automotive parts, 461kg, 1.869cbm) is due to arrive on vessel MSC Ayssa on 5/4 and we plan to devan container at our warehouse on Tuesday 8/4. So the wheels, sorry engine is in motion, but can't do anything now due to my current situation now until the summer. But at least the American lump, gear box and prop shaft are heading towards homeland. Project C6 350z is getting closer!
  22. I started with RE050's and wanted a change, like the price of the Falk's 452, but found they weren't that great in the wet in comparison to the RE050's and were terrible on track, heat in the sidewalls just made me feel unsteady. Ditched the Falkens, went back to the RE050's and whilst eating away at the tread noticed the good reviews of the MPSS 2's, so I treated myself and the wheels to a set. Me personally I've seen a great improvement over the RE050's and would recommend based on user budget to get the MPSS's, they're a better tyre, better feedback, increased traction and all round a great tyre. So dependent on the budget Falkens are good Bridge 50a's are better MPSS 2's are far superior Price in the same order. I won't be changing backwards, I don't see the reason to, but everybody has a different reason for buying tyres, and this is what's important. Anyway, that was my 2p
  23. There's one for sale in the "For Sale" threads
