Car and Bike Magic in Sunderland have a good rep. They sprayed and fitted the Amuse bumper and Nismo spoiler I had. K&P Anderson in Hartlepool are good if you are just wanting paint doing. As are the One Stop Paint Shop whoa are also in Hartlepool

I think the windscreen washer line runs close to that. Jack the car up, take the wheel off, remove the arch liner and have a look what you can see. -
Fukushima! do people realise we could all be fudged!

If the Daily Mail is a single one of your sources I will just hold my hands up in defeat..... Hold on.....YouTube and news clips are your source of all this factual information? I take it all back, everything you have said is 100% truth and I worry about the influx of Japanese immigrant heading to our shores. -

I read through your rant, and managed to mostly ignore your lack of punctuation or use of capital without getting too worked up as you make some good points. But this last statement pi**ed me off. Just because someone does not wish to discuss something with you doesn't mean they are putting their head in the sand. Some people don't have the knowledge base or the training to be able to sufficiently take all the information in and come to a reasonable conclusion. Also.....this is a genuine question not a rant.....but what is your background and how to does that show that you know anymore of the truth of nuclear vessels or operations than the next person? You may be a nuclear physicist for all I know, you didn't make that clear in your initial post. -

Cool. It'll likely be a weekday evening as I think the wife has stuff planned for me on both weekends of my leave. I'll drop you a message next week to set a date. -
Some of the wiring I have found is beyond belief. When I took the door panel off to install the central locking solenoid the mess I found was unbelievable!

None at the moment. I'm away at work for the next week and a bit. I've just ordered a HID kit, and a bunch of bulbs and resistors to sort out some of the blown dash/pod bulbs. Thinking of ditching my crappy MOMO steering wheel and seeing if I can make a 350z wheel fit. I know it's been done in the past, but there isn't a write up of it anywhere. How you getting on with yours?

The Neutrarust I use is available in the UK. If you can wait until mid October I can bring some round for you to use. It's self priming so can be painted over. -

Good progress http://neutrarustuk.com/neutrarust661.html We use this at work (I work on ships). It's great stuff if applied properly. -

She's got no underseal on at all. So luckily none to remove. There is a little bit of surface corrosion setting in, but nothing serious. I have some Neutrarust I "borrowed" from work, so I'll treat it with that, and then take it up to JM imports to get it undersealed for £150. I don't have the space to do it myself. If I was on leave, I'd pop up and offer to help. Alas I am at work for another 10 days. -

I don't envy you taking all that off. I'm doing the opposite. My 300 needs undersealing before the rot sets in. It's done well for 18 years, but it really needs to be done soon. I do hate the stuff though. Looks completely crap. -
I've just looked. It was gonna be Andlid. But he changed to an APS TT set up instead. He did a lot of research into it though.

I'm sure someone here has already done a rear mount tub. For the life of me I can't remember his name despite him being a prolific member.......he was from NI.

About 10 years ago I was house sharing with a group of friends. Whilst trying to covertly reverse park onto the drive to sneak in a bunch of valentines day flowers for the woman who was one of the house sharers (she should have been at work but was off ill), my foot slipped of the clutch (wet converse on metal pedal) and as I was at high revs (steep drive) and I clobbered straight into the house. New rear bumper needed. At the time the woman in question spurned my romantic gesture. But things turned out well in the end as she is now my wife!

Since I've had the Slicky, there has been an annoying whine when in 2nd and 4th. It was suggested it was likely the lower shift boot had came loose. Sure enough, when I looked into it a few weeks ago it had popped off. Placed back on and sound went away. Driving over past few days, sound had came back. I had to take the centre trim out today anyway, so whilst there I investigated the boot again. The lower boot had popped off again. It's slightly misshaped so I've put a couple of dabs of silicone and put it back in place. Hopefully that will hold it in place and save me having to track down a new one. Also the middle boot rubber had a huge split in it. I had some rubber glue in the garage so I did a repair and it's bonded well. Once it's all dry, Ike her out for a drive and see what the noise is like (hopefully gone!) There's some epic wiring bodges on this car: The above was someone attempt at installing a Nokia phone charger. I've removed it all and repaired the wiring. Next on this morning list was to fit the Gaitors I got from Si (Mondo - Hide and Seat). Nothing fancy, but my OEM ones were absolutely rotten. Really pleased with the finished look. Thanks again Si. I'll be getting the knob and hand brake done in the near future. I also changed out the centre stereo surround. The one in the car when I bought it had been sprayed blue, and it was scratched, chipped, and held in in some places with bluetak. How it looks now: The Pioneer stereo single Din is pretty naff to be honest, and it doesn't have a dimmer function, so it's a pain at night and the facia has to be removed. It will be for sale shortly. So now I just need to trace all the wires and neaten them up (I hate messy wiring). The rest of today is concentrating on splitting a set of rear lights for a wee project I was thinking off.

What an utterly ridiculous post. How on Earth was this the Honda dealers fault? You were the one who was willing to pay the money. They can advertise a car for whatever price they like.

You can request a moderator to lock the thread if you dot want everyone criticising price etc. GLWTS

The wife wants these kinda lights in the new kitchen.....I'm worried passing aircraft may try to land on the house!

A common MOT failure on the 300zx is the rear number plate light (x2). One of mine was pretty shagged. I could have got a unit from a breaker, but I had a SMD strip lying around in the garage, so I thought I'd use that. The result may be a tad bright! I wasn't going for the Fast and Furious look! I'll have to wire in a ceramic resister to dim them down a touch....

Seb, our lead twin, was head down and engaged for 6 weeks. Bugger didn't want to move at all! Helen went to 39 week, 4 days. So be prepared to wait! lol

Didn't know you were having twins mate! Congrats! I have a load of useful and less useful knowledge I can give on being father of twins. PM me if you want any of it. A cot rocker would have been in god send in the early days of my boys lives!

It's a company called G-Force Motorsport down in Aylesbury. Their Dyno is supposed to be one of the most accurate in the UK. But everyone claims that about their own Dyno. It won't have been tuned by them (unless you have a piggy back chip), as there are only 3 garage in the UK with the UpRev license to remap the OEM ECU, and G-FOrce isn't one of them.
