  1. Have a fun day mate. I'll be at work.....as usual! As said above, Elvington is a blockwork cement airstrip and horrendously tough on suspension and tyres. Having said that, they do have some smaller areas which are smoother. Not sure where they hold the track days now.
  2. The initial clean-up for the 350z and 370z Guides and FAQ's has been completed. Numerous threads have been moved, and a large number of them deleted. Some of you may notice a small change in your post count. As Mike says above, threads for these sections now require approval before they go live.
  3. A large repository of How To guides can be found here: http://my350z.com/forum/do-it-yourself-guides-377/ I would ask that if you use any of these guides to accomplish a task on your car, you record your progress and make a similar Guide for this forum so we can host it.
  4. This is the current working link to the Factory Service Manual in .pdf form. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/350Z/ Please not that it is for the USDM cars, so not everything will be the same, and many things will be reversed left to right.
  5. As a member of Round table (not King Arthurs, but the charity organisation) we have been dedicating our events to the cause of a young boy called Bradley who suffers from a rare condition. His story is explained here: http://www.bradleylowerysfight.co.uk/ This Christmas, some people have grouped together and released a single to try and raise money for his cause. Details on the single and where to download are here: http://www.hartlepoolmail.co.uk/news/health/health-matters/chart-topping-hopes-for-bradley-1-6254168 I leave it completely up to people to donate, or buy the single, or whatever. Thanks for reading. Al
  6. This is being discussed by the team. It's gonna take a while to clean up this Sub Forum (and other), but once complete, the team will make an announcement regarding the use of some of the areas
  7. Moved to more appropriate Sub Forum. FAQ's are a resource of answers not for asking questions
  8. Chris Knott Livingstone's Warman Prestige Sky Insurance. They'll all source you a limited mileage of a "lay-up" policy. Just bare in mind that if you forget you are on a lay up policy and decide to take a drive during your stated off road period you are not insured and would be in the @*!# if you were caught. I'd say a limited mileage policy is a better option.

    Fly eyes kit

Makes rear lights look like they need a wash imo.
  10. The OEM sat nav isn't worth the premium if already in a car or the cost of buying it to fit. Either get a double din stereo, or you can rig a [insert your preferred sat nav brand here] into the cubby.
  11. Just a quick thanks to Ewen for sourcing me some bits for the 300zx. Great quick service, and I'll certainly be ordering through him again.
  12. Over the next couple if weeks the FAQ and Guides section will be getting a bit of a spring clean. Anything that is not a FAQ or Guide will be getting moved to a different forum. Anything with dead links or photos will be getting deleted. As a reminder, this sub forum is for FAQ's and guides. If you have questions, then please put it in a different sub forum. We are trying to make this area into a useful Tech resource, and to achieve that it needs to be clutter free.

    My Z32 SWB

Few bits for the winter overhaul arrived today. Me and Bizz will be fitting these in the new year. Big thanks to Ewen at Clark Motorsport for sourcing these for me at a great price.
  14. Bought a breaker and putting a LSx in?
  15. It's a stigma that comes with imports. It's something that won't be changed on mass produced cars I'm afraid.
  16. Have you tried replacing the battery and then reprogramming the key?
  17. I think auto trader are offering free valuations at the moment (based on Parkers most likely).

    Zed wanted

No. Uk cars available in Chilli Red, and Rossi Red. It's just a colour that wasn't very popular.
  19. Find a local upholstery place. Ask them for a quote. It won't be cheap though. If you're anywhere near the North East, I full recommend Hide N Seat.
  20. Poorboys blackhole, topped with supernatural. Pretty much the best (reasonable price) finish you can get on a dark car.
  21. Anything is possible if you throw enough money at it. Approach some tuners with what you have and what you want to gain. They'll give you some prices and reality checks and then you know where you stand. But it would certainly be easier and cheaper to buy something like a Vortech kit from Tarmac or similar trader.
