  1. Why should the haulers have to pay UK road tax? They are bringing goods into the UK for the UK consumer. If you charge them road tax they pass that onto their customers who in turn pass the cost on to the consumer. Everyone loses.
  2. Ah.....so when you go on an epic road trip to Europe I assume you are going to volunterily pay the road tax pro-rata for whatever countries you visit......
  3. Locked and members involved under review.
  4. That is exactly the reason why it doesn't fit. It was 2008 when we tried this, I had one of the first HR engined cars in the UK, so no one knew what would fit and what wouldn't.
  5. Me and BigPhil Aspen an hour trying to make one fit my HR. We cloud get it in, but couldn't close the bonnet..
  6. 350z gearbox is fitted with syncromesh. Double de-clutching is of very little (if any at all) benefit (in my opinion obviously before everyone gets on their high racing driver experienced horse) having said that, if gearbox is a little notchy when cold it can help for that until the oil/synchros have some heat in them.
  7. Everyone else manages to use Photobucket on For Sale threads Just post the link.
  8. How come Mikey, Neo, Chris'I, and Chesterfield were not on the poll? I know they are down as Admin, but they perform the same role as the rest of us mods. They just happen to know more techy stuff than us mere mortals.
  9. Ok, Bitching was the wrong word to use. I just don't want this topic dragged off-topic into a Forum suggestions thread. We have a whole sub forum for that.
  10. The original Cusco one didn't fit the HR model. I don't know if they changed the design later on though.
  11. This isn't a bitch about the mods thread. Feel free to PM a member of the team with suggestions and we'll discuss it
  12. I have a feeling I may win the most unfriendly mod vote...... So in keeping with that, keep this thread sensible or I'll remove it
  13. My number plate light is actually a SMD strip with (I think) 2 SMD's in it. Z32 number plate lights are a common MOT failure as the bulb holder corrodes. So I changed mine to a SMD strip. I've got a ceramic resistor to wire in before the car comes back on the road in the Spring which will dim it by about a 1/4.
  14. 2 weeks at work on the boat at a time
  15. I bet they ain't as bright as mine.....
  16. They look like Rondell 58's. Which are a BBS copy with deep dish.
  17. Yeah, works now. No need to have created a second thread though. I've deleted that one.
  18. Link is borked. Even taking the direct link from the post gets a 404 error.
  19. Moved to a more appropriate location. Forced Induction is for Turbo or SC applications. Not generic hose
  20. Cheers guys. When I stepped down originally, it was due to the twins just arriving and taking up all my time. I was also generally out of the car scene at the time. Since buying the Z32, and now the boys are older, I'm finding myself with more enthusiasm and time to spend on the forums as a whole I asked the team if I could return, they said I could.
  21. I had wondered which one of our members it was. Well done
  22. Worth it for the engine and gearbox for anyone thinking of dropping a VQ into another car. Then break the rest for parts and flog the scrap. Some money to be made for anyone with the time and space.
  23. JWT stuff is top notch. It was one of the most popular kits in the early days. Other are more expensive as they generally have a hard pipe from filter to throttle body. Where as JWT is just plastic.
