  1. I know at least 3 members here who use that to strip wax and sealant off their paint before polishing.
  2. I use Tim@Envy's home formula. Served me well so far and is wax friendly.
  3. Links would be useful
  4. Moved to correct sub forum FAQ threads are for answers not questions. Also, it didn't help that you had placed it in 350z forum
  5. CZP is another one to consider. I've used them and had great service and quick delivery from the US. Tarmac can work as intermediatery between you and CZP if needed as he knows the owner. Z1 Motorsports have a great rep in the Z32 scene too.
  6. We need to install a "I must not post while pished" warning message....

    [SOLD]GPS Tracker

    Sold - thread locked
  8. Benefit of a pre '96 import. Just needs to pass the 3.5% emissions. My 300zx passed with flying colours with Decats. I have since put the cats back in as I was sick of being half deaf when driving it.
  9. Chill out. People are only trying to help and offer various advice and maybe offer options you may not have thought of. This is a forum. If you open up a thread, expect all sorts of replies. If you had specifically started your thread requesting no chat and just answers then that maybe what you would have got.
  10. In all seriousness......clearly you are determined to go the NA route. Which I give you credit for. I prefer NA to boost too. But.....you will spend an awful lot of cash trying to attain an extra 50bhp and probably ruin the general drive of the car when using it as a daily driver. I would suggest as said above - decide exactly what you want the car to be primarily. If you want it more track/drift orientated then consider getting a daily shed. Price everything up to get to the NA levels you want......then compare that to the cost of doing an engine swap to a LSx. The extra cost of the LSx swap in my opinion is worth it. 440hp from a LS3 out of the box, and then only a few £k extra for cams and efi-live map to get another 60bhp+

    Which pads??

Unipart pads are crap. Speak to one of the many traders here and they'll sort you with good quality pads. It's an easy DIY job. There's a guide in the How To sub forum.
  12. Merry Christmas from me, Helen, and the boys. Have a good one folks, and thanks for making the forum the great place it is.
  13. Welcome. First NE meet of the year is roughly planned for Feb 2nd. Keep an eye open for more information.

    Rays alloys

Are you thinking of these 5 spoke Rays?: http://www.1scom.net/~jlkrawietz/100_0166.JPG They are USDM only, and where not available in the uk. UK cars had these Rays (optional up to 06, then standard) http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2730/4277798159_7342541535_b.jpg These are the Nismo rays (available in 18 and 19, and in silver or bronze) http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/1130/raysnismofw2.jpg
  15. Approved on the basis you quickly upload a photo of your car so people know what you have to swap.

    Rays alloys

255 is the largest I would on a 8.5j wheel. Anything bigger and you would start to get pinch. The car would handle like a paraplegic dolphin. I can't remember the weight of the Rays off the top of my head, but there is a thread somewhere on the forum. probably in the FAQ section,. Sets regularly come up for sale. Normally around the £400-£600 mark depending on condition or the wheels and if fitted with tyres. The 5 spoke rays in 18 and 19 guise are sold as "Nismo" wheels. And come up very rarely, and I think are in excess of £1000 a set when second hand. Though it has been some time since I seen a set for sale so I could be wrong on the price. As I say, they are pretty damn rare second hand. But can still be purchased new I believe. They used to be £1800 for all 4 (without tyres).

    Lovin' this!

Well that has just gone and ruined my appetite. I really don't like that, and completely ruins the history of the GTR's looks. Luckily it's only a rendering, and will likely look nothing at all like that.
  19. Hand brake light - check brake fluid level. Creaky suspension - check banana arms, and all rear bushes for wear/play
