Why don't I count? We don't have 350/370 so don't count towards the liability insurance of 50 cars. You can put your private plate on. What it means is that the guy who you bought it off had is private plate on from new. When the DVLA assigned a reg for it when he removed his plate, it's one from their "stock" and becomes the cars first ever DVLA plate. Which is the one it will revert to when you remove your number plate in the future. Probably starts with an M the one that's on it?

I am hearing this comment a lot (like martin, I live/work in Scotland for 6 months of the year) and most people cannot back up that statement with any facts.
