  1. Still doesn't help with people mis-labelling things. Until the mass can be trusted to use the forums available to them properly, you're only making life more awkward by giving them choice. In theory I have no issue with the idea, and in a perfect world it would help massively. The trouble is, people are stupid. We're not leaving in a perfect world, people make mistakes, but that's why we have moderators here, a full army of them. And if they're not enough, surely we can get some more: Will370z, Darren-B and many more. But, clearly, we do need two separate subforums in the FS section. If it was up to me, I'd do it even more distinct like: FOR SALE: 1. 370z PARTS - exhaust and intake - engine & gearbox - plenums, spark plugs, clutches etc - audio & video - ICE, subwoofers, satnav, speakers, headunits etc - body - bumpers, skirts, - suspension - coilovers, camber arms, traction arms etc - wheels and tyres - power kits - turbo, supercharging, custom gauges, pods, fuel systems - interior - seats, trims, dashboard - cooling - radiators, intercoolers, meth injections etc - brakes - discs, pads, BBK, lines etc - miscellaneous - SMD's Jaaaag gloves, stickers etc 2. 350z PARTS same as above 3. CARS - 350z - 370z 4. NON ZED RELATED ITEMS For instance, new 370z owner, comes on the forum and wants to buy a 370z exhaust. A lot easier to search in the specific subforum, rather than browsing to hundreds of random for sale threads for both 350z and 370z Just to be clear Adrian, you have no chance of getting all that. We have enough subforums as it is. Adding more is just going to make the place even more cluttered.
  2. Clever yes, attractive no. Honestly, that looks awful. No chance I would want that installed in any car I own. Looks like some dodgy 1980's Pioneer effort.
  3. I'm not referring to things we move to Jokes etc. There are plenty of threads relating to 370's posted in the 350 forums and the reverse that we move. I'll speak to Admin and see if we can think of something suitable.
  4. The amount of threads I move each day just proves that people don't bother to check where they are posting things. Having 2 separate for sale areas is just going to mean the staff moving more threads. And what would you propose we do with items which cross the gulf of the cars? Wheels, spacers, etc etc. Have another sub forum? That's 3. It's overkill.
  5. As said, the roof is notoriously temperamental in cold weather (anything beneath 5°). Greasing the hinges helps
  6. How much are they Lexx ?. Apologies Will, it seems we are no longer able to get hold of them
  7. What he said ^^ You'll be drilling the buggers out this time next year.
  8. You can buy slam panels from the club shop, including having your forum name engraved on them.
  9. Also worth a mention: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/158-atkin-motor-engineers/
  10. I can appreciate the skill involved, however it just ruins one of my favourite songs.
  11. Why? I'm only sharing an experience, I do enjoy my car every time I drive it. Mostly what it comes down to is that this is a wholly public accessible forum. Anything you type on here is easily readable through Google. As such, lawyers (and indeed the Police) have used posts of people as evidence against them. There was a guy a few years back on PH who had forum posts used as evidence against him to send him to prison for a good while. It has also been known for forum posts to be used in dangerous driving cases and the like. The kinda post you have made we tend to leave alone, no mention of actual speeding etc etc But any posts which are about racing or speeding on public roads will be removed.
  12. Try using a bug and tar remover at first. If that doesn't work use a light polish on it (something like Autoglym SRP).
  13. I only take on cars I know I can beat, coz I only race for slips Bro
  14. Hmmmmm.....warning point for mocking a team member on his sexual preference.....
  15. Too lazy to make a proper For Sale thread?
  16. Before you bought any bits from eBay, did the original screen that was in the car have any buttons at all beneath it? The OEM fit satnav looks like this: (click pic for larger image)
  17. Post up some pics of your screen, and the connectors. The standard UK system is Birdview and has buttons including an OK/Enter on a panel beneath it. It sounds like you have an aftermarket screen installed.
  18. Before we go any further can you just confirm that the sat nav that you originally found in the car is the OEM birdview system.
  19. Bump. 37 votes so far. It's a good start, but we average over 100 individual active members a day!
  20. Moved to correct area. GT refers to a trim level. GT cars come with heated leather seats, cruise control, better stereo, and a few other bits I can't remember. non GT cars are generally harder to sell on.
