  1. He said each letter would have to come off and I assume they aren't easy to reattach. Thanks for the offer but its the 350z or fairladyZ badge I need and not the emblem. There really are some lazy people around! As said, any bodyshop worth the money would do this without even mentioning it to you. It's just accepted as something that is part of the deal.

  6. Rays are just a brand. In the UK, early cars could have them as an option. Later cars they came as standard. This thread : http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?showtopic=53880 shows pics of Rays without spacers at the top, and what they look like with spacers at the bottom of the thread. Again, I must stress that wheel width is irrelevant without taking into account the offset of the wheel.
  7. Just remember if you hire a van with Enterprise, the extra insurance you pay for DOES NOT cover driving into a car park that is too low for the van height...
  8. Moved from "Forum Help" to "350z general".
  9. Wheel width is mostly irrelevant with regards to needing spacers or not. what matters is the offset of the wheels. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56720-wheel-offsets-for-dummies/
  10. I'm slightly confused... I think what you are saying is you bought the correct size tyres for standard OEM Rays? But these don't fit your Jade alloys (because my guess is they are wider than Rays) If you like the Jade alloys, sell the wrong size tyres you bought, and then fit the correct size tyres for your Jade wheels.
  11. You could try some heat in the hope that the metals expand at different rates.
  12. Yeah.....and look how bad my hangover was!
  13. I have 2 pints now and I end up hungover. I work on dry ships, so no booze for 2 weeks. And I've hardly drank in the last almost 2 years since the twins were born! Going on a belated honeymoon to Verbier in September which is all inclusive. Mammoth pack of paracetamol will be packed.

    Over heating

Stop panicking about how serious it could be. Start simple and work up from there. Go and see if both your cooling fans are working. Its 30º in most of the country today so if they're both kaput you're gonna overheat quickly.
  15. Fan failure is a common issue. One of the 2 fans normally packs in and in the weather one isn't enough to keep the car cool. Clark Motorsport sell new fans.
  16. Dear god. I've seen one example and it was a) truly awful, B ) illegal. A 350z is not type approved for 4 persons in the UK. If you are serious about a zed with 4 seats, part ex yours for a 350zGT which has 4 seats from factory.
  17. The pedal dance is extremely time specific. Use a stopwatch to get the timings right.
  18. It's an "I have no idea what is going on". Admin are looking into it.
