    Recommendations

Asking for tyre recommendations is like going into a London pub and asking a people who they support. Everyone has a favourite and will defend it to the hilt. Go onto Tyreleader, see what tyres are in your price range, and go with them.
  2. Always welcome at LakeZ mate. I gotta have someone to help me bore folk with talk of random post-hardcore bands!
  3. Repeat after me; "Audis have indicators too"
  4. Easier to upload to photobucket and upload the link So your bought it then, congrats. Always did like the Chilli Red.
  5. Gave me a good chuckle watching it this morning. moved from 350z General to somewhere more suitable though
  6. Point noted. Just want to give everyone a chance to put their name forward for this

    Interior Retrim

That's a great price compared to some of the quotes I had in the past when looking at doing something similar on my old RX8.
  8. See various claims online that the 6 is developing a bend if kept in a pocket when sitting down etc. Probably BS.
  9. The Team are looking for a member to volunteer to be the club's National Events Organiser. Your role would involve organising the club's presence at the major (and minor) annual shows, as well as liaising with the NEO of 300zx.co.uk and Z-Club for the events where we have a joint stand. Please either express your interest below or send me a PM. Please note that there is only one position available, and in the event of more than one person volunteering the Team will choose the person they think most suitable. (Also note that NEO is not a moderator position). Cheers Lexx.
  10. Faulty relay would be my guess. Find the lighting relay in the fuse board and switch it out with another that you know works.
  11. Make sure you use plenty of brake cleaner agitate it with a stiff brush. You need them to be as clean as possible. Quick scrub with wire wool. Chances are they are scuffed enough already from normal use. use a very fine, good quality brush if you are using tins of hammerite, and do it in 3 or 4 really fine layers.
  12. Shouldn't have an issue with that. I had 3 sets replaced by Mazda with the same issue right up until the warranty expired. It's easier for a dealer to replace rather than refurb. They send the corroded ones back to HQ.

    Interior Retrim

Contact "mondo" on here. He is a trader and does interior retrims. If you look in the "Hide n Seat" subforum you will see example of his work, including the full retrim he has just done on a members car this week.

    Red Zed

Oh it's not essential, but JDM cars don't come with them as standard so it's a nice upgrade to have. The standard brakes will stop you, they're just not fantastic. A set of Brembo's will set you back £500. Maybe gives you a some room to negotiate if it doesn't have them.

    Red Zed

It will have been imported into the UK in 2006. But it'll be a 2002 car. Mind and check to see if it has had the brakes upgraded to Brembo's.
  16. I know you could just drive off and not pay for the person behind. BUT, basically you are still buying a coffee so in essence still paying for what you are getting. So generosity wise.....er.....it's not exactly charity is it.
  17. I still have this due to being let down by a buyer.
  18. Approved based on fact that Chris is a trusted trader, and "offered parts" could be wide ranging and would be ridiculous to ask him to take a pic with username on for every item he sells.
  19. It'd be a dull place without you Neil!
  20. Looks to me like it's been refurbed. Probably had a gouge in a spoke and they've been ground and polished put. If you have an accurate vernier gauge you could measure the width of the spokes. Though there would be variation in the manufacturing process itself so you would have to bare that in mind when interpreting the results.
  21. It gets worse with each update though.
