  1. He the only driver with a hat, umbrella, and headphones..why .. Because he is attempting to keep his temperature down before he spends 90 minutes cooking in a car and losing enough sweat to fill a sink. He's also the only one in a green hat, and the only one called Lewis, and the only one won in Australia 2 weeks ago in an F1 car...... f***s sake.
  2. Where do people get these Bullshit power figures from? So they just plonk any old number down on the hope that people won't know. Or does their trusty butt dyno make them believe that the mods they have done have hugely increased the power?
  3. What am I putting it forward for? - an award, a knighthood, a medal?...
  4. Get a new one cut by a pro locksmith.
  5. Oh well if cost is no issue, then get a Kranzle. Just not the one Dan suggested... (only because I don't want him to be right all of the time ). *smugface* That's your only face! I have a Nilfisk c110 and a lance from Direct Hoses. Perfect combo for me......but I'm a cheap skate.
  6. Seems like it's more "him" than "them" http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=1490508&mid=0&nmt=North+Tyneside+body+shop
  7. Free once you get 350 posts or you can buy them for the merchandise subforum
  8. Ah bugger. Sorry bud. I'd offer to send you one of ours, but they are packed away in a storage unit whilst we get our extension built and I'm 350 miles away from it.
  9. Posted this just above your reply!
  10. The wife says she got them off ebay from here: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Roco-Clothing
  11. These the kind of thing?I I'm just waiting on a reply from the wife as to where we got them.
  12. Hold on. I'll ask the wife where we got them for the twins for a wedding we were at mid last year and see if I can find a pic
  13. If you're worried, mention when you book that you are low clearance (even though if you have standard ride height, you really wouldn't have an issue). When I worked for DFDS if a car declared themselves as low we would stick them on the middle deck with the freight as there was no major lips to cope with. The standard tourist deck on the DFDS Dover - Dunkerque route is an absolute NO for low vehicles.
  14. Fantastic service once again from Ewen. Got hold of a JDM battery for me and a much better price than I could find anywhere online. Top work as always
  15. Sorted. cheers Dan. Totally missed it was trying to do it securely.
  16. No Lexx, but I did work as Team Manager for the Jacki Epstein Team IBEC, with Tony Trimmer, Tif Nedell and Ian Bracey sponsored by Lloyd of London. Photos or it didn't happen Tiff Needell is my dads cousin, I was asking him if he knew you, he says he can't remember you Ask Tiff if he remembers this pile of poo..!! Then ask him what was Ian Bracey's "nickname" Beansy (my Google Foo is awesome....) As I recall, that car didn't qualify as the average time was in the bottom two for their group and thus never raced.

  18. In his one man tent that you could barely lay down in, never mind sleep. Then there was the beer mountain and the whisky wall. Oh happy days.
  19. IIRC there is a Guide in the Guides/how to section. Google and Google Images will help you find pics quicker than waiting for results here.
  20. R3 was the facelift variety available from 2010 (I think) and came in 230 guise only. I loved mine. It was poor on fuel, but my god it was a good car. Considering it was almost 80bhp down on my 350z I lapped Croft consistently 2 seconds quicker in it. I know there are lot of variables, but the handling really is that good if it's working right.
  21. Will - When I spotted you had posted I was having expected to read that you'd driven in 3 of them and won one in a GT40. George - yeah, poor Ian. That was a sad end to an epic week for him. I had hoped to go again this year, but changes to family have put pay to that. It'll be a few years before I get chance now.
  22. Pull the fuel pump fuse and crank it over for what feels like an age (but in reality isn't too long). Replace fuse, fire up. Rinse and repeat. It will create clouds of white smoke out of the bank end for a while, and can destroy the Cat. Head over to rx8ownersclub.co.uk for more detailed advice. I haven't owned mine since 2008 so my info may be a bit rusty.
