  1. In the off chance the someone wants to split it - I just need the centre plastic of the wheel. So if anyone wants just the wheel itself then we could split the cost.
  2. Nope. Everyone is entitled. One man's dirt is another man's gold and all that jazz. Often I have witnessed posts where the OP is clearly delusional over prices (I'm, not just referring to this forum) and it takes the forum membership as a whole to explain why. It's 50/50 as to whether the OP accepts the advice or not. This is a completely separate complaint and has nothing to do with whether people should or shouldn't post on for sale threads. I would say generally forum members are more realistic about the values of their cars and are thus honest about it. It's a forum. If the OP does not want a discussion either request it's locked or else go stick it on PH or AT or even eBay. Forums are built on discussions.
  3. It has ALWAYS been the case that if a seller wishes his post to be locked (and thus become a normal classifieds advert) then the team would do that. EDIT: It even says so at the tip of the sales subforums So long as someone is not being derogatory or breaking the rules in other ways then I see no reason why members should be censored. Why should the For Sale sections be any different to any other parts of the forum?
  4. Well it seems this thread would have got many dislikes if there was such a button..... Ridiculous idea as far as ai am concerned. I see the OPs original reasoning.....however they have failed to see the over all picture of what it would mean. "Hi, I'm new, look at my body kit" = 500 dislikes and member never seen again.
  5. If you'd have taken my advice above you'd have saved £20. Since they did exactly what I told you to do. No one listens anymore. ...
  6. Find an (old) socket that almost fits over the locking nut. Hammer it on. Use a breaker bar to remove.
  7. You know I love that car Si. Stop showing off! It depresses me to think my Z32 is nowhere near that standard and won't be for a few years!
  8. If you do any work to the car yourself you won't have a leg to stand on shpuld the issue get worse. Take it back to the garage untouched. It's now a separate issue - the work they have done may or may not be done correctly. They have an obligation to check it. The garage seems pretty straight up to me. Despite you calling them all the names under the sun in the first post they actually turned out to be telling the truth. Stop your bitching, save some money, get them to look at it.
  9. RTB has vanished too. Pete biscuit boy had twins and bought a Volvo!! Still see him on FB now and again though Sent from my Zed using Nangkang tyres front, RE040's rear I've had 2 sets of twins and bought a flipping s max. Still around though
  10. Lots of threads on Pistonheads about using the tiles
  11. Nice R33. Give me a shout when you collect her. I live 10 minutes away from GTR shop.
  12. Damn. If only you lived closer. Probably uneconomical to post
  13. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/58175-oil-catch-can-tested-and-proven/ MIssing some pics, but you get the gist and could PM Bennett for more advice.
  14. Sorry to see this. Hopefully it's nothing too serious (engine knocking is such a catch all for problems it could be minor or serious!). Keep us updated.
  15. YOur location would help if you plan on collection
  16. Thanks for the advice so far. Never a big fan of the carpet tile look. Good dice ref curing time. The majority of the garage floor has been down for 15 years. It's just the new screed extended part which has only been down 4 weeks. I quite like the interlocking tiles you can get, but paranoid about fluid get in between the joins and sitting there. Chris - that doctor stuff is ruddy expensive!!
  17. How long ago? Type of floor? How has it lasted? More info would be helpful....Ta

    E9X M3....

Get a VXR8 - uniqueness and big shouty NA V8 I am horrifically biased though as I adored mine and desperately want another.
  19. As part of an extension which has doubled the size of my house, I have widened the garage and added a workshop onto the back. Before I place my 300zx in her new home, I want to paint the floor. I plan to do quite a bit of work to my various cars in there so I need an easy clean and hard wearing surface. I'm looking for advice on what people here have used and what the recommend or don't recommend. The old part of the garage is a concrete floor and the new part is a cement screed. So whatever product used has to be good enough for both surfaces. Consulted Google already but it's full of @*!#.
  20. The threads aren't even that far apart in the 350z general section that you had to enter to post this...
  21. Universal Silver ---- K23 / (M) Twilight Grey ------ K51 / (M) Ebisu Black -------- G41 / (M) Vibrant Red ------- A54 /(S) Le Mans Blue ------ RAE / (P) Storm White ------ QAB / (P) Quartz ----- KAV The above are the only codes I know. Not sure if that's any help to you though! Quartz was on the Black Edition (which isn't actually black!) but sounds like the darker "grey" you have.
