  1. You can almost feel the tension!!
  2. I just gave my old OEM one away to a member on the "other" site. Didnt feel right to charge for it.
  3. Signed a good while ago Like Martin, this one is very close to me so get your friends involved.
  4. Renault dealers charge ridiculous prices. And their labour charges are normally dearer than nearly all other dealers! £700 for a clutch!!! WTF!!! Scary thing is people will pay these prices....
  5. You'll be able to source them cheaper else where. They come up on ebay from time to time. I think someone had a set up for sale on the "other" site too.
  6. I dont fancy my chances against the local County cars like! I know how much their T5's can shift!
  7. Believe there is a member in the process of this, and hopes to have a guide written up by Saturday

    K2 Discussion

Never heard a K2 before, so cant comment myself. Trying to remember if I had the Nismo CAI fitted when I was in Glasgow, as that would also account for the sound of my car.
  9. Nope, not a dealer. More like a glorified used car sales site. Not sure what their rep is like. If you google them, you'll probably find some reviews. Maybe even have a look on Pistonheads.
  10. OEM pads are Ferrodo ain't they? Not sure what spec though. PF pads will be going on mine next. Oh, and
  11. My personal opinion on these places is to avoid them. If you are a cash buyer, you can get a much better car privately. If you need finance, their rates are normally astronomical, and you'd get a much better APR from a bank to buy private. Or even a better APR from a dealer.
  12. Clean looking car you have there. Looks like someones copy of a Nismo V2 spoiler.
  13. Get a 2 week temp gig on a Chase boat or something in the North Sea. Surely suffering 2 weeks of sea sickness would be better than ANY of those gig dates!

  15. Dover-Dunquerqe is normally a decent price with NorfolkLine. Though it is slightly further to drive. We're considering doing the overnight ferry from Hull to Cherbourg. Hmmmm

  17. Id forgot to mention earlier, I was on a dual carriageway, with no houses nearby, in the middle of the afternoon. So cant be exactly described as disturbing the peace!
  18. You should have at least kept her over xmas! You'll feel like Santa has forgotten you when you look out your window on xmas morning and see a CRV instead of a Zed!
  19. Hi folks. I know its still in 2008. But since people start booking up around about now, I thought Id start a thread on it to see who's going, and share information. Stuff I've gathered so far - If you normally use Dover-Bologne ferries. Then I would suggest using somewhere else. I had inside info that THIS was gunna happen. And have heard rumours that they wont be resuming service. LD Lines are to start a service on that run. But not until July 2009. So still no good. Speedchills - Many people use speedchills to book their tickets and camping etc. And although the website hasnt been updated in some time. I have been reliably informed that they are still going, and will be updating the site forthwith so that you can purchase tickets through them. Oh, and who here is going??
  20. Im off to get the bleach again.
