  1. Powerzed over near Bristol are pretty much the UK leading specialist for Z32 now. There's also Lee Dent at LA Autos. Both are very respected in the 300zx community.
  2. Never been Admin before. After Martins passing it was a natural progression for me to step into his shoes. I've already done it at work, so did it here too.
  3. Cheers guys. I got another full day of DIY for my birthday
  4. I have a wheel about to come off my Z32 (it is a Z33 wheel) which I can sell you. If you decided on Mondo doing the retrim you can save on postage as I will drop it at his house for you as he only lives 10 mins away.
  5. Around about 2 years ago we had a purge on the "How to" topics that no longer had working links/pics etc. Having a quick scan through them again today it is apparent that this needs doing again. As such, this is a request to all you DIY'ers out there to help this forum. To keep the knowledge base up to date for future members we need YOU to post up your guides. No matter how small or big the job you are doing on your car is, write a guide and submit it for approval What you should include: - Approx skill level required - Tools required - Step by step process - Pics for each step (annotated if required) Come on guys, show us what you are made of. Even simple jobs can seem daunting to a novice, but the assistance of a Guide can give confidence and experience to someone who otherwise could be left with Dealer labour costs!
  6. Wet weather testing starts tomorrow so giving this thread a bump.. In other news reports are that Honda have managed to find another 223 HP (when eRS deployed) for their 2016 unit compared to 2015.
  7. Read the OP. He already does that every time. He needs to find out what the codes are before clearing them to get an idea of what is going on when it's throwing up the CEL.
  8. Connect from the jump pack to the batter positive. Connect the negative from the jump pack to a suitable ground point on your car (not the negative terminal on your battery).
  9. You were indeed told by a team member that you could contact those you knew. However what you actually did was send PMs to anyone you felt like. A number of members who didn't even know you existed or even know the car involved previously received PMs from you.
  10. It has been brought to the teams attention that a member recently tried to circumvent the For Sale rules. The member in question in no way met the requirements to sell a car here, and after being told so by the mods he proceeded to PM members en masse with a link to his vehicle asking if anyone was interested. The member has had his PM privileges revoked and warning point issued. This action will be repeated to any member that we find out is circumventing the rules in the same way. The rules we have here have served the club and membership well for 10 years now. Please respect them, and respect the Teams decisions.
  11. I was just thinking that! Are you going back to a Z32 wheel now...? Yup. I got the one of Lees new import.
  12. You planning on having Mondo retrim it? He lives round the corner from me so I can deliver it to him to do the work then he can ship direct to you
  13. Yup. I'll take some pics of the wheel when I get back home from Aberdeen in a few weeks. Obviously if someone else comes along with an offer in the mean time then go for it
  14. Do you have an OEM wheel fitted already? if so, you can transfer your plastics from one to the other
  15. How much of the wheel do you need? Do you need airbag etc? In a week or so I will have a wheel available (it will have centre but no airbag fitted). Also it's from a JDM base model so the left and right plastics are solid without holes for the stereo and cruise controls.

    Car trailer hire

http://www.transporterhire.co.uk I've hired a beavertail from these guys a few times. Less than 3.5t so can be driven on standard license.
  17. Moved from "announcements" forum. **** only knows why you put it in there
  18. Pay for full insurance. If it got stolen or there was a fire or a flood or whatever whilst you are away you'd be left screwed.
  19. No base dyno to compare too. So in honesty those numbers are completely worthless. But stock it doesnt run at 295 Correct. However dyno's are not accurate machines. For example - My VXR8 showed a 34hp difference between 2 different dyno's within the same week. Without a base dyno run on the SAME dyno without your mods, you don't know what you have or haven't gained. Sorry to be negative on your thread mate, it's just a run over from a previous thread that myself and Dave were involved in.
  20. No base dyno to compare too. So in honesty those numbers are completely worthless.
  21. So what? Where is the base dyno run with no mods? Numbers like that mean feck all as no one knows if that dyno reads high/low or what.
